4:3 Formats

Hi all,

I've come to Milovana for the CH movies. I was just wondering, most if not all CH vids use nice 720P widescreen resolutions. What's the opinion on using older videos for CH movies? Ones that are not HD and are in 4:3 format. Is this like a complete deal breaker for you or doesn't it matter that much?

It seems to be hit or miss. When I first started making CH vids, it was something I was unaware of and just mashed all different resolutions together. When I look back, yeah it's sloppy and affects the overall quality.

That being said, I wouldn't mind a 4:3 lower resolution CH, but it all comes down to content. I've thought about doing a "retro" CH with all older material that I, essentially, grew up on. There's tonnes of great footage out there that shouldn't be kept secret just because it's not HD.

So count my vote in as a no, it doesn't matter! As long as the whole thing is done in the same resolution.

I am content with either 4:3 or 16:9 widescreen... I *prefer* the HD 16:9 content, but if the 4:3 video is of decent quality, then I say go for it.

I'm even happy with mixed content 16:9/4:3 in the same compilation (just not in the same round).

Just WHATEVER you do -- for all that is sacred, if you are doing a mixed-content compilation do NOT mess with the original aspect ratios. If it's 4:3, mixed into an otherwise 16:9 full-length ratio, then leave the 4:3 content IN 4:3 with pillar bars on the sides for that round. Nothing spoils the enjoyment more than seeing a distorted image, such as a stretched pussy or a squashed twat.

I think consistency is the key. It's offputting if your video is almost all new 720p stuff and all of a sudden it jumps to very old 4:3 VHS stuff.
I wouldn't mind an all 4:3 VHS video at all since like the preivous poster, that's what I grew up with. Nina Hartley, Anna Malle, Lovette and the like. So as long as it looks and feels consistent and the cuts and material work together, go for it!
