Excellent Denial Method/Suggestion! (Blocking your content)

((EDIT: More ideas have been added at the bottom of this post!))
In my quest to prohibit my access on my computer, I came across this utility in Google Chrome that is extremely useful!
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... delahlfoji
Essentially, this site blocks you from accessing websites you so choose, or you can block the Internet altogether.
There are however a couple flaws in the system
- You can uninstall the extension
- Alternate Internet browsers
- Offline access to your content via HDD
The second and third ones cannot be completely bypassed by uninstalling non-IE browsers, though here's a way to disable Internet Explorer as well
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/2734/uni ... windows-7/
The first one however can be made full proof by blocking the following web URL...
chrome://plugins
Afterwards, right click the icon at the top right of the screen, select "Hide Button", and when your timer runs out, or your start "nuclear" mode, you cannot access your apps to change them until the timer runs out.
---
However this only opens up even more possibilities, you could block JUST "chrome://plugins/", but also install a lot of apps that could be obstructive to your browsing experience.
(You could also block "chrome://settings/" and have a really embarrassing theme set)
On top of that, if you manage to gain access to the extension settings of Stay Focused, you could enable "Challenge" which will require you to enter a lengthy paragraph that is literally cheat proof.
---
One last idea I have is that you could remove all browsers except for Chrome, create a Guest account on your computer, and only enable limited functionality. You could then change the password of your main profile on the computer to something you won't remember (i.e. - jna9qu64q3trbIGTB4ji), email it to yourself, and block the Internet
-
EDIT: More idea(s)...
A dom and sub with Chrome could both have this application.
- Dom sets their settings that they wish for the sub to use and be restricted to
- Dom exports the settings, and emails them to sub
- Sub imports the settings emailed by dom, and sets them immediately.
Custom "Challenge" Message
- Like the above, but in the settings, the dom creates custom text for the challange that could either provide humiliation, and/or difficulty
- Sub could take picture of completed task
- Failure to complete could mean more restrictions and/or punishments, completing it could lessen restrictions, and provide an award.
Anyway, I'm currently thinking of more uses for this app, maybe even use it for studying... maybe.
