Editor option to not show 'Continue' button

We seem to be getting a few of the Choose Your Own Adventure style teases coming in, and they seem fairly popular ... I may do one myself some day. These are hampered by the existence of the Continue button on the page though, forcing the author to write "Don't press Continue", which rather detracts from the experience. Would it be possible to add a simple boolean (checkbox probably) to the page editor to "Remove 'Continue' Button?" Then these teases can force readers to make a choice rather than effectively having a 'default' option.

I note that these teases tend to be written by the more experienced writers anyway, so the risk of not having enough instructions on the page should not rear its head. In any case, the default position should be UNchecked, so that the Continue button is displayed.

That's a good idea. If I can take your idea one further.

I assume the reason you can't add a link in a tease is so teases don't get filled with spam.

Can option boxes be added that will take a user to a specific page number in the current tease?

I've long been a proponent of keeping the classic teases simple and using the new FlashTease system for interactive teases.

Webteases are so easy to use because they follow the book paradigm - Flip through until the end.

Then again, as you say: There are books where you can skip around. So maybe it's ok to make an exception for this particular feature.

Hmm.

Yes, I like the idea. I'll implement this after the next version of Nyx. :-)
