She would make an excellent patronesse of denial if there ever was one...
What would be the male counterpart for the submissive ladies?

She definitaly is. I have never understood why some people worship her. She is basically evil and the antipode of good.
Sharp choice when it comes to Jesus SC! But he could be patron to both men and women!
p.s. Do you mean not popular here among Milovanans?

She's not exactly EVIL. Ancient gods are all not good and not evil. They just offer different benefits and demand different sacrifice. As good and evil is always depends on your point of view, what side of the force you are standing on, there's no evil gods. For some, "Evil" god may do good, and in the process hurt others. But so does the "Good" god. The only difference is that "Bad" god does good to you by hurting others, and a "Good" god hurts others by doing good to you.
As for current God with which Jesus is associated - he's not a good being at all. For instance, remember the massacre of Egyptian newborn babies to make the Egyptian king release Jewish. Or the great flood.
Of course, some may say that it's old stories from the old bible, but in fact the chrystian good is the same diety as was there with a new bible... in which there are a lot of instances of killing the enemies of god and heretics just because they don't believe in him.
So he's not nice.

Evil in the sence she can get carried away. She is complement to the other Gods and Shiva, her husband, in particular. And they are to her. I enjoyed reading your points of view. Well put Nezhul!
I completely agree with you with regard to the newborn babies. You are missing nuance in the flood story as if non believing would be the only cause or the cause.
It's too complex to argue about it. And while being catholic, it is my belief that also (good) non believers or ppl of other belief will end up together.

That was two different points. The flood was bad no matter what's the cause. ESPECIALLY if we think that man was created after god's image himself.
Religion is really complicated. But the discussion about it is kinda off topic, so I'll stop. Just wanted to clarify that misunderstanding about Flood reasons.
