Hey Folks...

School's paused here in Germany, I have much time and once in a while I have a flow of creativity.. and now I want to show you the results of such an .creative attack. ..

The Link:

What is this all about?

The basic idea is a kind of "automated Browser". In that special case I intended to automate the navigate-command of the internet explorer so all you have to do is to enter the url and then choose it from the history list.
It is designed for the Webteases of this beautiful site. So you open up the program, surf to the Webteases, choose one and then take the address of the first site of the tease from the history-list in the addressbar (click on the down-arrow on the right end of the bar.)
From then the program runs automatically, waiting 10 secs at the first site and 20 for each site in the tease... the program is only alpha, it is the first (half) usable release. Windows may report the program crashed during it is waiting.. But it will continue running..it just waits ;)

and the number of sites is currently set to 20, as i have to think about a way to determine the length of a tease..(or make a table once?... :hmmm: )
well..I don't want to advertise, but run a test and collect feedback if the program makes sense (is there need for it?) and how it could look in future releases (if there is a need for it.)

I didn't click the link, but voted no anyway, because if I understand correctly then what you're talking about is turning these web teases into a hands off slide show, and it's not the same.

Nyx (flash tease stuff here currently in beta) will allow for that if the author feels that's the best way for the tease.

Also, I think it's more fun to follow the directions as much as I'm willing to, or at least take time to imagine. I don't think I'd enjoy it as much.

If you want to make a powerpoint of captioned images, I love that too. If you want to publish it, send a PM to Seraph0x or post it on the eTeased Yahoo group.

I pretty much agree with camel here. But having options is always good, so thanks for the contribution! :thumbsup:

In diesem Sinne, schöne Grüße und genieß den Rest deiner Ferien! :-)

I thought about the project the last days.. the current implementation is just a temporary solution.. a user-friendly interface would be the first step.. second may be support for a scripting language..but that just would come in direction of PCMistress and similar programs.

at this point i'd like to ask if it would be "legal" to develop a system that allows browsing the teases offline
(for example view the tease once online and after that you'll be able to view them without being connected, as the pages are stored in a folder)
sorry, i'm looking for challenges^^
@seraph0x:
