I don't think it's based on some actual statistics. But yea, people like simple numbers and names.

Actual statistics show that the unsavest password is "Password" Also, common passwords also include "facebook" "4321" and "a"

Well, I do tend to use number passwords occasionally...
BUT I'd never use a number password without random order of the numbers

I find it hard to believe, that names would rank so high. There isn't even remotely enough Ashleys in the world to beat, say, "asdasd"...
