Great news!
The good thing is that the videos were purposefully made to play like other CH Videos - to allow those who wish to eschew the RPG element can still enjoy it as a CH production.DDurum wrote: Mon Oct 05, 2020 10:50 amDon‘t want to be that guy who is asking, but I played both Canto I and II for the very first time last weekend and I can’t believe that it took me so long to finally play it. I was always a bit scared by all these role play elements, so I started it from time to time, only to stop after five minutes, because I just felt RPG-CH wouldn’t be for me.
Well lets not get too carried away! LOLLeiasolo wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 2:39 am Can't wait! This could be one heck of a Christmas Present/Pandemic Present!!
That's great to hear. Canto I was one of the first CH videos I played, and the one that got me hooked. I'm one of those who don't bother with the RPG elements, but the pacing and editing is so good in that video. It took me several tries to get through the whole thing, which very few CH vids can claim. :)Tittyluvr1334 wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 8:49 pm THAT being said - it is highly encouraging to see this traffic, because to be honest there was a long time (for about a year) that I wondered if we'd ever release anything more. We were out of touch with one another, and not sure what was going on in the background - either one of us could have moved on, passed on or passed up or passed out.
For the first time in 2 years I think we actually have a clear direction and an end in sight.
From an unbiased source, I also think the story is remarkably engaging. It even sparked my interest enough to read the first few cantos of Dante's Inferno to try to recognize parallels and try to predict what direction you might take #3. Additionally it's made me think about making my own videos. I'm a software developer, so I'm trying to use c++ OpenShot library to create tools for easily cutting together clips, adding beat meters, overlay text, and previewing the creation. I've already used more standard tools to make my own super inferno cut, merging the two cantos together, making the oblivion round part of the main sequence, etc. To date I've never made it through the super cut, I've been close a couple of times, but Final Battle or Oblivion is usually the breaking point. Both rounds are just too good, and I have them back to back! Let's just say I'm a super fan of your creation. In the end it's just a matter of choice and preference. I'm sure the vast majority of those who enjoyed them did not bother with the RPG and tracking - but the story is nonetheless remarkably engaging (at least I think so - though I'm biased since i wrote a lot of it) even if you don't use the RPG ability/points.
You'll have to forgive my excitement, I will of course be waiting patiently. It's highly encouraging to see your updates, and know that the project hasn't died. I'm am totally looking forward to seeing what comes next! Will we finally get all of Virgo? And if so will it be with Anjelica's blessing or will Virgo fall to temptation and betray her? Will Holly and Uma find redemption, or are they beyond forgiveness? What further tricks does the High Temptress have in store for us? Can the guardians of the Gate, having been defeated, be turned to the good side to aid in our journey? Will Dani be satisfied with only a single taste?Well lets not get too carried away! LOL
I highly doubt it will be put to the public by Christmas - but not for a lack of trying. I just didn't want any false hopes or expectations.

Wow - if there was an award for Best Post of the Year, this would be a front-runner.Leiasolo wrote: Thu Dec 03, 2020 5:08 am

WHAAAAT?? NO! She's the loyal guide that's all. The handmaiden of the highest esteem, and entrusted by the goddess herself to deliver the Hero to her. That would just be wrong. Interestingly enuf - i've scripted some dialogue about that very same questions/musing that you brought up that is mentioned in the Canto III.Will we finally get all of Virgo? And if so will it be with Anjelica's blessing or will Virgo fall to temptation and betray her?
Her appetite is insatiable me thinks. Personally I hope another taste is in the cards - as I am a huge fan of Dani's. She is extremely sexy and sensual (to me anyways). Will Dani be satisfied with only a single taste?
Yes.What further tricks does the High Temptress have in store for us?

I believe for the most part - this is the true magic of it all. the scripting/dialogue/story makes it feel more personal - more intimate. That's the goal and thought process behind it.InfamousPlantain wrote: Thu Dec 03, 2020 5:30 pm
as someone who gets *ahem* lured in by the darker elements of the storyline constantly, this is welcome! Canto/Canto2 is also one of -- if not the first cock hero I ever played. It has utterly spoiled me. Not too heavy into the RPG aspect like you said, so I can occasionally follow or not follow -- but the story, definitely enriches the whole experience. Along with the timely dialog from luscious ladies, it has caused many happy fails. Your scripting efforts are most appreciated!
You're welcome, and thanks again for the content. I'm glad I could be a representative voice for all of the fans. Just remember that although I spoke up with words of encouragement, for every person like me, there's probably 50 more that think the same way, but just haven't spoken up. It's quite obvious to me anyway that if you look around the Milovana boards your creation is held in very high esteem.Wow - if there was an award for Best Post of the Year, this would be a front-runner.Seriously though thank you tremendously. It's feedback and support like that which really keeps my eye on the ball....er breasts. I hope Raga reads this
Yup, Virgo is "Virgil", Anjelica is "Beatrice", even beginning waking up in a dark wood, Dante is chased by a panther, a lion, and a wolf. Our hero is chased by "The Cats". The line about "If you cum, they will devour you", similar to the beast that when fed she is more hungry than before. Virgil is the one that gives Dante the plan of going through hell to reach heaven, as Virgo guides us through the inferno to reach Anjelica. Dante begs Virgil to be sure he's up to the task before setting him upon the road, as Virgo trains our hero before they set off to meet Charon making sure the hero is up to the task. Charon is the boatman mirrored in both stories. So having read some of Dante's Inferno, you no doubt see see Virgo is "Virgil" and Anjelica is analogous to Beatrice. Temptation and Lust of course is the biggest overarching theme throughout our production and is prevalent throughout all rings or layers of the Inferno - although each has their own little spark of flavor
I figured as much, being the Virgil character, she would be a guide but not super participatory, plus a fall to temptation ending in betrayal would mean Virgo would end up in the final circle. However, with her progression from mere guide, to trainer, to using her whiles to distract us from Charon, I had imagined a scenario towards the end we might find that Virgo has one more act of protection to bestow. Interesting to hear that the musing still ended up being entertained in Canto III.WHAAAAT?? NO! She's the loyal guide that's all. Here's where I get a little hazy on if the parallels are intended or imagined by me...I think the guard of styx(Brittney Shumaker) may be influenced by Minos, warning us to be careful of whom we place our trust in. I think the guardians of the gate(Kora, Persephone, and Katherine) may be patterned on the Furies/Erinnyes. I'm not sure the valkyries have a direct parallel, but Emily(+Dani) may be the Angel that opens the gate.
