I think that's only because the clock automatically switches to EDT but Jana specifically said EST, which would be UTC-5. UTC is now about 3.10 so in EST it's 10.10.

Edit: So someone needs to fill the hour gap sometime today. The sooner the better in case someone messes it up.

Guys, sorry to confuse you further, but a few points to remember:

1. Jana meant EDT, not EST. I'm positive on that - she wouldn't want to mess us up in that way, not like her at all.

2. UK are NOT on GMT right now, since the UK is on daylight saving as well. UK is 5 hours ahead of the east coast, just as normal.

Right now, the time is 11:23 AM EDT, the noon shift starting in 37 minutes from now.

Repeating latest table

Time is now 11:42, ElDorado87 is up in 18 minutes from now.

Also, to tell the truth, I very much doubt Jana would fail the team based on DST/time zone misunderstandings.. This is clearly a test of dedication, obedience and the ability to work together. Much more important than getting it right is being a team and doing what we're supposed to do. If the entire effort is offset by one hour I very much doubt that would matter. She is devious and tricky at times, but not in that kind of way

Great Sukero.

I saw ElDorado get online just about on schedule, so hopefully we're all good this far.

Well in any case I had the first shift which means we're committed to EST time. If you are operating on EDT (as in this clock: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-z ... tern-time/) then an extra hour needs to be taken at the end.

Why don't we take the forum time? (=Jana)
The plan seems to work.

Please? wrote:I've left all the organizing to you younger guys, it seems you've got it all covered. But I'm worried on the time zone issue.

It also seems everyone's doing 1 hour shifts. Why? Surely 1 hour is the maximum, not the requirement. All we have to do is make sure someone's edging at 3 minute intervals.
We don't know how many we are exactly. Just more than 24... But 48? Don't know. How to plan with flexible slots of different lengths? I fear that would be to difficult to coordinate.

PS I am ready for my turn in 14 minutes
