Why did the "download tease only" checkbox get removed? I thought it was pretty useful.

Tommarr, I know what you're talking about and it wasn't related to TeaseMe itself, at least not for me. I was using ZoneAlarm for a firewall on my computer and found out that, for some ridiculous reason, the program use 100% of any available CPU power.

In other words, once you start doing things online, ZoneAlarm, will eat up any other power that is left in order to monitor your activity. Once the resources are eaten up, your computer will slow down and things like the images in TeaseMe will not display.

Once I got rid of that piece of crap free program, I have not had any trouble with images in TeaseMe or slowdown problems on my computer.

You may not have ZoneAlarm, but there maybe something eating up your resources. Check your process monitor when you have this issue and see if there's anything hogging your CPU.

You're doing a lot to promote TeaseMe and encourage authors to make TeaseMe content. Maybe you don't see it as work, but you're using your free time to improve it, even if you're not writing the code.

I guess I occasionally pull the right direction with my big mouth lol. Thanks again.

Open the tease you would like to see in your browser and copy the url.
It should be something like
http:/ /www.milovana.com/webteases/showtease.php?id=19885 for normal teases or
http:/ /www.milovana.com/webteases/showflash.php?id=19911 for flash teases.

When you start TeaseMe there is a button on the top (in the middle) to open a tease. Click it and past the url you just copied in the textbox that says "Tease url". Press the Load button next to it and it will show the title and author of the tease. If this is indeed the one you wanted, press the Save button and decide in what folder you want to save the tease (the default is usually ok). Now TeaseMe starts downloading the tease with its images. When it's finished select the tease and start.

It's possible use a "if-set" in a image tag?

Something like this?

Code: Select all

 <Image id="4/3.jpg" / if-set="option1"><Image id="5/3.jpg" / if-set="option2">

Yes. Very much so. But the syntax is thus:

Code: Select all

<Image id="4/3.jpg" if-set="option1" /><Image id="5/3.jpg" if-set="option2" />

I don't know about the rest of the devs, but I don't get to code in my job much anymore, so I do this for fun.
More helpful is feed back that a) what we are doing has value, b) what can be done to improve it c) what works well that you would not want changed.
or spend some time writing a tease

Same here, no need to send your paypal love to me. I would rather like a great tease.
