Johanna, once you've chosen your triggers, and done your daily edges, you can do tasks. That one in particular only requires the first 6 rounds of Cruel Countdowns, not the whole tease. If you successfully complete a task, you get that many points for yourself individually, then at the end of the game, each individual's score is added up to get the final team score. keep track of how many pictures you scrolled by and round that up to the next multiple of 5. that's how many points you get for completing this task
since there is a maximum of 50 points a task can give, you are allowed to stop after 50 pictures no matter what. in case you get insanely unlucky and haven't hit all triggers until then

so if your triggers are pretty common or you get lucky, this task can be over in a couple of pictures and be very easy. if you're unlucky or have very niche triggers you might be in for trouble
