Hi markus,
Just wanted to ask if you could give us a quick update how things are going?
Im really interested in that^-^
Hi yky989!
Before I answer to this, ... just btw.:
Awakening had it's first birthday 2 days ago.
It was the first of september 2021 when I have opened up / started a new project in visual studio and named it 'Awakening' because no better name was coming up to my mind.
I have done this because I was so frustrated that the original Tai was eating up lines of some of my scripts I did for that 'Alice'-Project.
At that point it was just a 'try', nothing serious, I had some free time and thought, hell, ... why not try it?
And now, one year later, ... I have not only a program which I have some fun with, but it also is running on the PC's of those who I could win for testing this thing.
Now with those testers the closed-test-forum is filled with life, a lot of feedback, there were a lot of feature requests, ... and a lot of fun, ... it was definitely one of my better ideas in life to start this project!
Those testers will be named (and praised with some well deserved credits) in the release version / thread, ... but for now:
Thank you guys, you know who I mean, ... without you this project wouldn't be where it is right now!
Ok, back to your question, yky989:
Well, we have to seperate this into 2 things, so that there won't be any misunderstandings:
- 1. The Basic Version
- 2. Further Versions
1. The Basic Version:
Things are going amazingly well!
I thought I would be sooner close to a release (my first goal was Easter this year), but the testers revealed some problems which had to be solved before a release would have make sense.
Now I think there is not much left on the to-do-list to finally make a cut and let this baby see the light of public.
Don't nail me down on a time frame, the golden rule is still, 'it's done when it's done', ... but I have the feeling that 'it's done' soon.
2. Further Versions:
Soooooo many things on the to-do-list, ... until there will be a 'final' version, it might take one more year or even more.
Thank you for your interest in it!
Best greetings,
Markus
