Hi joop568.
What version of windows are you run. 10 or 11.
The latest version for CHPlayer V3 is V3.0.9 on Windows.
Please be aware that this V3 program do not use VLC. It use the Microsoft Media Player.
And for Audio it use the CSCore.

Try to check the installed files in the c:\Program Files (x86)\XXXApp\CHPlayerV3\.
The files placed in the installed library is:
AxInterop.WMPLib.dll 53 KB
CHPlayer3.exe 666 KB
CHPlayer3.exe.config 2 KB
CHPlayer3.pdb 68 KB
chplayerv3.chm 299 KB
CHPlayerV3.ico 211 KB
CSCore.dll 519 KB
Interop.WMPLib.dll 323 KB
System.Net.Http.dll 84 KB
wmp.dll 9,265 KB

If this is not the same try to uninstall and install the program again.
I have not yet try the program on Windows 11. But I have seen other using it under Windows 11.
Hope this help. Else other could answer if they see any error.

But after selecting video/audio file and is ready.. I push play button, its starts connecting and then program closed.
I tried this with several video/audio files what i used in the past, same happens.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I have now try install CHPlayer on a new PC with Windows 11 Pro.
But it is working without install any software besides running setup.exe.
Remember there is 2 files in the zip file. CHPlayer_V3.0.9.zip:
Remember to unzip the zip file to a tmp folder. The 2 files
Setup_CHPlayerV3.msi and setup.exe. You just run the setup.exe.
And this should install the program with all dependencies.

And also remember if you have unstall some microsoft programs please reinstall them.
I do not know if Mcirosoft Movie Player connect to the internet every time new video file is selected.
And if MS Movie Player is blocked in some way, this could be a problem. (There is no check for this)
If you want me to investigate futher then I have to know from the log what is causing the crash.
Please se the Event Viewer log for more detail....

Sorry I do not have any clue why you see this error. I have try this on more than 1 W11 PC and do not see this error.
The d3d9.dll file is an essential component of the Microsoft DirectX software development kit (SDK). It plays a crucial role in rendering graphics and providing advanced multimedia capabilities for Windows-based applications and games. However, users may encounter errors related to the d3d9.dll file, which can cause crashes, performance issues, and other frustrating problems.

My dll file d3d9.dll is 1,65 MB (1.736.920 bytes)

I do not say that it is malware, but please check this site:

Maybe worth a try:

-> Updating the GPU drivers.

May I asked why switching from VLC to WMP?
(I'm not telling do or don't, ... just asking out of curiosity, ... had my fights with the vlc.lib myself, can be a bitch, I know).

Hope this help. Else other could answer if they see any error.
Any chance for a version without installer, just a zipped package ready to go/test?

Greetz,
Markus

Thank for help with a solution that worked.
The reason why I switch to WMP was that I felt that I have more control and it is more integrated in to CHPlayer.
But for the version I am try to do for Linux I will switch back. But still strugle on this Linux Deploy tool.
The only thing that is not so good at Linux is also the handle of Audio. I can not get the same result on Linux.
So still digging into this.

I am using a standard Win11 setup with Win media Player.

When running a video using CHPlayer3 , pausing the video, then jump fw or back, the screen stays black. Only when I click play again the video is visible again.

Is there a solution for this issue ?

I really enjoy using CHPlayer for videos with mp3 estim files. Thank you, Puste! Now, I'm having problems with no audio playing from the video When I play CHPlayer V3 on my Windows 10 computer. The computer has a bluetooth USB adapter which I use for the audio from the video. I use the computer headphone jack for the estim audio signal. Everything worked fine about a year ago when I was using a PowerBeats bluetooth headphone. I've bought new bluetooth headphones, and am not able to get the audio to play on the headphones, even though other system sounds can be heard on the headphones. Everything seems to work fine when I use the bluetooth headphones with Restim. Any thoughts or solutions? K

I am not sure what could course this issue. But the program is using CSCore.
And there is some problem with this acording to some Bluetooth devices.

1) CSCore does not automatically follow Windows’ “default audio device” in all cases.
If my code is explicitly binding to one device (e.g., a specific MMDevice or WasapiOut endpoint), it may be sending audio to the wrong one (like speakers instead of Bluetooth headphones).
2) Bluetooth devices sometimes only support certain sample rates (often 44.1 kHz / 16-bit stereo).
If the program using CSCore pipeline outputs at 48 kHz or 32-bit float, the headphones might reject it silently.

I am not sure how to fix this issue, becouse the source I am using is from CSCore own website, sorry. !

Hi Puste, Thanks for your reply. I installed CHPlayer V3 on my newer Dell Windows 11 desktop pc, and that fixed the problem with the video audio track not playing on my old Windows 10 pc. Now, everything is working as it should be. I'm looking forward to being able to play some new estim videos with mp3 stim files, such as Pax and Clutch. K
