My opinion is wait to release it in 1080p even if it takes a few days. I feel like once it's out I won't be able to resist and watching it in 720p would be doing your work an injustice.

The branching path requires the player to skip to a particular timestamp, but for reasons that are unfathomable to me, when I tell VLC to go to that time, it actually goes to a time a few minutes prior. I've had this issue before, I had to go from different media players and some worked. I found this in a search through VLC that might do it:

"Turn off the "fast seek" setting. That seeks to the nearest key frame rather than the exact position specified. With long GOP codecs it can take a few seconds to locate and decode a particular frame in the middle of the GOP."

Though that didn't help the person asking. There is also a keyframe setting in some video editors when you export, i'm not sure the effect of having it more often or not.

There is also a 'jump to' setting where you type the time stamp in, would be curious if that works in getting to the right spot as well.

After sleeping on it I agree. I am determined to find a way to make a 1080p version that works and release today.

Solved all issues. I'll have a 1080p MP4 with the proper ability to skip forward, and it looks like it'll only be about 4GB.

EDIT: Hahaha, found one more mistake. 90 minutes left on "final" render now. It never ends.

Alright, here's the deal:

I found yet another stupid error - it took me until now to finally realize the 2nd reward round didn't have the promised 2-minute warning in it. So yeah, that's enough to make me re-render a 6th time.

That's also enough to push this release into the very late evening as I have real life plans that will put me AFK by the time this render finishes. I am therefore now estimating that seeding will begin approximately 8 hours from the time of this post.

Surely there won't be any more delays. Surely.
