I've signed into discord but can't send any messages, what to do?

I need help finding out how to use the Chat page on this site. I see a lot of chatter in this forum asking a similar question, but no answers I understand. Is there a "How to" section I haven't found? Or is there a techie or somebody that can help me, and several others that I see have asked, how to as well.

Hello. Was wondering how to let the user put there nae into my tease. I know I use promt but what action do I use after that so that they can see there name again??? Pleasee hellppp

Unfortunately chat doesn't work anymore. If you want to chat I suggest joining the Milovana discord which has had more activity recently

Yes, prompt is how the player enters the name. Make sure that the variable it saves that name to is listed in the "init script" which is in options. I have mine set to
name=null;
It later gets overridden by whatever the player enters but having something in the init script for all of the variables you use can prevent freezes during testing.

Then later when you are using "say actions" there is a button that has <>. Click this and enter whatever variable you used for the name, this will display whatever variable the player entered for that say action.

Hey, so no matter what i do every time i try to connect to the chat function of the sight i just get braught to a page that does nothing but says connecting connecting. Is there something im missing that i need to download or do to get it to work right? im currently using google chrome when trying to use it.

I'm having the same issues it doesn't let me login how can I not be logged in for chat if I am logged in for the site I honestly don't know if the chat ever works

The website chat hasn't been functional for about a decade now and I was never around for what it was like when it supposedly worked.

To that other poster that I somehow missed LONG ago - Yes, discord links expire after about a week and you require a new one. Hopefully you figured it out!
