Yes we do but if you have a lemony maranade and no crust plus seasoning it is very nice and refreshing
i have a recepie the queen uses if your interested (you peel and deseed the cucmber too)

De-seed the cucumber? Sounds like too much work...
Although I'm sure the Queen has an official cucumber de-seeder to do that work for her!
