Recently installed TAI on a new PC. Every version I've tried (Miss Blue w/ Sweet Patch, the recent 55.7.2b patch, AliceMerged) has been extraordinarily slow for some reason. Slow as in there's a slight delay after I press buttons, the entire program locks briefly on every single line, the dom is extremely slow to respond to prompts (usually takes 4-5 lines before she actually responds), loading a new script locks TAI for 10-20 seconds. It's incredibly frustrating. I've tried both reinstalling and running as admin, but so far it's not gotten any better and I'm out of ideas.

Have you added the TAI folder to your antivirus exceptions? Testing with AliceMerged initially this took me from an entirely unusable 14 minute freeze down to usually under a minute. If it's able to help yours to that degree then you should be golden!
I've had the issues with the domme not realising you've said something and only catching up a few lines later, though that usually accompanied the freezing and seemed to largely disappear once the freezing went too.
Hope this helps.

Wow, yeah. That never even occurred to me as a possibility. Adding my TAI folder as an exception to Windows defender seems to have fixed everything. Thank you!

Hi,
yesterday I did a clean install because I ran in many problems, I still can't fix one: Every time the domme "changes outfits" TAI just locks up. I can still press buttons but nothing happens. Running HOT on 55.7.2b.

I remember about such a problem, try the patch '0.55.7.2d__2020_10_17_leezer3 patch 4 + Async ChatReadyState reversed' from the first post here:

Hi, I recently came upon an error during a session.
Information
Patch: Tease AI Fury 3.5.2020
Personality: MissBlue 3.4
The bug started almost at the beginning of the session when it tried to pull up images (though it doesn't happen to all images, some images show up fine)
I get (like 30x in a row) the error message
Error: The path is not of a legal form.
in red letters. I have checked and no folders or image titles have special characters in the name.
I have tried changing the folders of which TeaseAI is in, but the error still occurred. Does anyone know how this occurs and how it can be fixed? Thanks in advance

It means that that vocabulary file is missing in the vocabulary folder of the personality you are using.
Try checking in the thread for that personality if someone mentioned the same issue or post there if nobody did.
Alternatively you could create a file with that name and use a different greeting on each line like this
Code: Select all
Good evening
What a lovely evening, isn't it?
Good evening #SubName
You can use other vocabulary files inside a vocabulary file as long as you have in your vocabulary folder.

For some reason my TAI doesn't recognize the command @taggedimage. I'm using the unofficial patch.

I believe you don't have some Images Tagged. Tag some Images and the command works (get one image and get this all tagges so the program never crash)

Hi and welcome to the forum!
As far as I can see there is not a command (or even filter) spelled '@taggedimage'
I guess what you are looking for is:
@ShowTaggedImage
Also, most commands and filters are case-sensitive, so in example, this works:
@ShowTaggedImage
but this doesn't work:
@showtaggedimage
Best greetings,
Markus
