Well, I really liked it! Yes, it could do with a clean up, but the content is great. I would love to see a re-render of this.
I can certainly forgive the maker for not making it as slick as Fluxdance, but at least he made one. How about some of the critics showing us how it's done?
Can't wait for the next one or a cleaner version of this one! Thanks!

Currently encoding to these settings. I had the right format, but my preset was NTSC DV High Quality.

The 720p encoding will be released soon, at just under 5 gB in size.

Thanks for the advice!

In response to some of the other comments, common sense is a myth based on the assumption that we've all had the same life experiences, training, etc. What's common sense to me as a carpenter is probably not common sense to someone who has never been inside a shop or swung a hammer.

Glad you liked it! Seeing as this is only my second attempt at video editing, I'd like to say you can definitely expect more polish and improved creation as I progress. Figuring out what settings to use and rendering and encoding etc., is already taking shape with the advice received in this thread!

Attempting a high quality re-release right now!

Hey dude!

What?^^ Will there be an another release of this video? I would rather download that one then with the correction of the sounds concerning distortion.

When will it happen?

I'm not sure I follow with the distortion people are mentioning, I haven't experienced it on my end. Is it happening throughout, or just at certain points? If so, what points?

Due to the comments mentioning this issue I have not completed my download so it was not my personal experience. It just gave me kind of a confusion. If it was a false remark then I will download the whole video. I was just cautious that I did not want to download such a thing if there were distorted sounds throughout of it.

Now that I've downloaded it, I wanted to weigh in here. I haven't watched more than 20 minutes so far.

I would say that the beat track is gained up a little too high. It sounds like there is clipping going on because it's too "loud" so the nuance of the beats is getting killed and adds a sort of static sound to it.
--Okay, I guess this isn't the case 100% of the time. Round 1 is clearly distorting, but round 4 doesn't sound too bad. If anything I think the music in round 4 sounds a little intentionally distorted (i.e. the music is made to sound that way) but the beat sounds are fine...

I see the interlacing people mentioned... very odd, considering at least one of the offending scenes is clearly from a website and not like it's been recorded from a TV feed or something. You might want to just take a small clip in a project and see if you can figure out what's going on there.

Personally I don't mind the 4:3... I'm still using a 4:3 monitor, actually. :) I prefer more vertical space; 1080 feels cramped when I'm actually doing anything like reading text or even playing games.

One thing I've found, around the 20:45 mark there's a glitch in the video that actually freezes VLC. I went through it in WMP and saw the glitch, but WMP recovered it. When I tried to pick a new spot in the video to resync things, it actually broke VLC and I had to kill the process from the taskmanager. I'm not sure what the deal is there, but it's sort of problematic.

Like I said I haven't gone past round 3 yet, but unless you ever get into "complex" beats and not just slow/med/fast, you might want to consider a sleeker indicator. I was envisioning a thin border around the entire video with the color of the current speed, or maybe just a solid color box in the corner or something. I don't think the text itself is necessary if you put up a legend at the start, and it might look nice. Or... just a multi-size graphic, instead of using colors (more bars/squares in a line, thinner or thicker border, etc.) since you don't have to indicate a beat pattern.

And finally, I can see why you're looking at such a huge file size. This thing is just shy of 2 hours long! Really really long. I'm not going to tell you to change that, necessarily, but you might want to consider editing down the rounds a bit if your song choices aren't forcing that length.

So far, I like round 3 a lot. Good scenes, long-ish times between cuts, the music works well, and I'm glad you mixed in the original scene audio. I kind of hopped through round 1 and 2 since I'm not big on warm-up rounds, but they seemed good other than the audio clipping on the beats.

-- Ok, went through the rest. I enjoyed a lot of the themes and scenes in the rest, especially 7 and 9. I think it was 7 and 9 anyway. :) And I do also really like your approach to the Reward finale... even if it could practically be a whole CH by itself. heh. More of the best parts of the earlier themes is a great idea, imo, especially compared to rewards that are completely different than everything before them (as some authors are prone to do).

So yeah, the ideas are very good as a base, and as you get more comfortable with the tools I think people will be more and more pleased by your efforts. :)

I pulled up the video, 1 hr and 54 minutes...DAMN! This will be a hard one to do, I hope to see alot of CFNM, I skimmed through it and though it was promising.

I would like to all CFNM Cock Hero someday though, but this should do for now.

You may get your wish! I've had thoughts of putting together entire "Missions", as it were, dedicated to themes. All blonde, all redhead, big tits, all asian, cowgirl, etc., etc., and a dedicated CFNM is definitely in that idea bowl.

I definitely notice it in Round 1, it was something I kept trying to fix, but for some reason the original audio from the video always either outweighed the beat track or vice versa, the only time I found a happy medium was what you've all experienced. I'll get better!

I cannot speak to this problem because I have not experienced it, and have no knowledge of why or what might cause that sort of thing.

This was actually something I played with initially! Most of my testers, we'll call them the focus group, didn't care for it. Could be that I did it poorly, but I thought it looked pretty slick. Perhaps in future Missions!

That's something I need to work on. I feel like I probably try to cram too much content in. Definitely going to cut down the round lengths in the next Mission.

Thanks for all the feedback, glad you enjoyed it for the most part! I'm definitely going to be able to create a much finer product with my next go round. This is the kind of feedback I need. I'm very willing and very able to learn better and finer techniques, as long as there's a voice on the forums telling me where I can improve!

Are you still going to release a re-rendered, cleaner, widescreen version?

As far as the aspect ratio goes, I can't unring that bell. I would have to start over from scratch, and...well, that's just not going to happen. I did do a re-render, and have been told by those that have it that it is of better quality, so I'm adding it to the download options!

See the first post edit for the HQ torrent.
