We have a bunch of baseball bats out in the garage - would that work? There are even a few aluminum softball bats (which is what dix would likely have after 100 swats with one of those!)

Phew finally done, now i'm increadibly frustrated, and am not looking forward to a night sleeping naked. Oh well guess i'll be a bit tired tomorrow

You should really pick a number before you go. If you can't complete all the edges tonight then you miss out on playtime I'm afraid
If you wanted to take a small punishment in exchange for just doing 10 edges then I suppose that would be ok!
