I have a Handy and I know it uses funscripts. I downloaded these scripts when they were free and they work fine. A beat is typically just up or down but not up and down. There are utilities to double the speed, so on a Handy, a beat is one up and down.

I'm looking to get a Handy, where can I find the program to double the speed to get a full up/down beat?

Also, for non cock hero funscripts - is there any problems with syncing issues regarding scripts made for (example) the launch? Do theese also need to be doubled or will that mess with the sync?

I wrote my own funscript for psytrance 2 and got to try it out in the one brief moment I had the apartment to myself the last several months; maybe it's just the volume of commands in the script but it felt like the handy had a difficult time with pattern changes. Like, it'd be cruising along doing 1-1 fine, then the bar would switch to 1-2-123 and while it's there in the script, the handy itself would stop for a second or two. Weird! Maybe my scripts are too voluminous for it?

Thinking about buying The Handy, but I am a little worried about holding it at top speed. The best experience would be hands free. Has anyone tried making a rack for this bad boy? Maybe something out of wood with clamps holding it in place. Any ideas cock heroes?

I like the studio equipment idea.

At first, I thought that using the second arm of a dual arm computer monitor stand might be a good idea, but it would make the monitor shake too much on the other arm. So kudos for the studio equipment.

I used a Stanley hobby vice (https://www.amazon.co.uk/STANLEY-MAXSTE ... diy&sr=1-1) to fix to my desk as it has multiple positions - you can fix it horizontally through to vertically and it's rock solid. Then you need a holder for the Handy. I used a piece of wood (38x38mm) with adjustable 68-72mm or similar pipe clamps with a metal angle bracket to hold it in place. This makes it wobble free and very adjustable. The main outlay is the cost of the vice - which can still be used for other purposes when you need it

After using that setup a few times, one may get an erection for just doing some random woodwork and wonder what is happening.
