I think it is safe for use. I am building something more complex right now and it works great. I would recommend exporting your script every now and then, but I did not have any problems since the last few issues have been fixed.

Code: Select all

pages.isEnabled()
pages.enable()
pages.disable()
pages.getCurrentPageId()
console.log()/info()/warn()/error()
Interessting, does isEnabled/enable/disable take a page id as argument?
Yup! The page id needs to be passed to those functions!

Thank you for the good idea and its implementation. But something bothers me personally extremely; the writing bar usually runs through interesting parts of the picture. Can not you place it next to the picture, similar to Tease me?
Otherwise however: good work !!!

This looks amazing - super big congrats seraph0x! :thumbsup:

Monumental release for the site. Joined this site 12 years ago in 2007, and crazy to see a community from back then still alive and thriving, pushing forward, and now getting a release like this. This place will be around for years to come, and still doing new and innovative things when it comes to the kinky web landscape.

Also JavaScript running in an embedded interpreter? Gives the system nearly unlimited potential. Genius. Keep it up.

I've tried the EOS tease, it looks good (though the scrolly text is weird) but...

it hangs. I've seen it work, but try again, and it hangs on a page, no more interaction.

eg the Your Own tease, click a few of the options as they come up, and then ... just static image. Try again, and I've had it work for 2 or 3, and then it hangs.

That's in firefox though, it does seem to work a lot better in chrome.

I clicked to rate an Eos tease before finishing and it just said thanks for rating...Did it rate it?

Hi!
First of all, huge props for you man! It looks so clean, so 2019! :lol:

I've tried it for a moment and here are two suggestions:
1) Font and FontSize! I'd love to see this as a feature, cause it would help fit longer texts ;-)
2) Can't make blank lines? I have blank lines in my text but it doesn't appear in preview (it's just one line after another).
how it looks in text window: https://i.imgur.com/Xb09iUU.jpg
how it looks in preview: https://i.imgur.com/PqAJXln.jpg

Strange :unsure: Anyway, you did awesome job and you should be proud my man!
Hope you can get these functions going, cause i'd really like to transfer my tease from Nyx to Eos!

See you soon 8-)

What can you say ... EoS Editor is a quantum leap forward in creating interesting teases. I have absolutely zero knowledge of Java but after studying the included guides for a short while I created a Stim Tease by simply clicking options and including stolen images and sound files without the slightest problem. I operate a Mac and used Safari which worked apart from no sound output so I ran the saved tease with Opera and it worked perfectly. I also disliked the text running over the pics so I used Text Ranged Left under the options and limited width to around 40 spaces, text then sits neatly on the left (fine for most pics which are portrait - landscape still overlays text)
I can't wait to see what the expert users are going to make of this (Lolol2 - Estim Citadel with Dungeons where the mistresses call you by name and a Maze to negotiate before you escape ?)

So even if you know nothing about programming (like me) thanks to seraph0x everyone can have a play around even if you never publish and just do it for your own enjoyment.

Hey all, thank you so much for the positive feedback and bug reports!! :love:

I'll catch up on everyone's comments soon but for now I would like to present the new JavaScript API reference:

https://milovana.com/eos/editor/help/api-reference

Just a starting point, I'm sure there'll be a lot more functions and documentation in the future.

That's great! It is already very usefull.
Is there a reason, the Sound-API is not listed there?
Because I am already using it, not that you are planning to change that or something.

Wow. What a pleasant surprise that EOS was not only being worked on this whole time, we can actually start creating teases with it now! :w00t:

seraph0x, thanks for the amazing work - Been mucking around with it for about an hour and very impressed with all you've done.

A few things I've haven't seen asked
- Will there be an offline version of the EOS Editor? I'm guessing no (for security purposes), but figured I'd ask all the same.
- Will we be able to upload videos to teases? Or perhaps attach links to streaming videos (i.e. pornhub, xhamster, etc.,)
- Will animated gifs be supported in the future?

EOS looks very promising, thanks again seraph0x!

Any plans on making a standalone viewer? Maybe the option to export a tease for offline use. I often prefer GuideMe over Nyx, just because my wifi is kinda shit and images don't load quickly enough on short pages.

Just discoved another bug: if you set a time for the say action and allow the user to skip, the tease cannot be validated.
The validator says that the property is unknown.

Nice! :w00t: Is there or can a feature be added that would allow an author to move text to different areas on the screen so that it would not always be forced to obstruct the images? Can the text be timed out separately from the page timers?

Not sure, what you mean exactly.
You can not clear text from a page.
But if you go to a new page, the text is gone, but the image will stay there until you execute a new image-action.
"Pages" do not have much of a meaning for the content of the screen anymore.
They are the only logical points you can jump to, and the text is cleared if you move to a new one.
But you can keep changing pictures and text without changing a page.
