This is my first time using Google Drive but see if I did this right and try the link. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-uU2 ... U5UZjZvOHc
Some cropping and re-sizing may be needed.

I've been playing around in my spare time with some video editing and I wanted to give the generator a try.

it looks really nice and it works quite nicely. But I have one issue I cannot overcome. I wanted to generate the result. First I used "Generate Audio" which prompted me with a file dialog to save the audio. Everything is fine.
After that I selected "Generate Video" and nothing happens.

I followed your instructions but at that point I fail. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Did you select tracks for video output? I.e. did you press the "D" button in front of the tracks.
When you select generate video a dialog to choose a directory should come up.
You should select an empty directory where the frames will be generated.

thanks for the fast reply.

Yes, I selected the same buttons as in your Readme-Screenshot.

Beats: P and D are selected
Messages: R and D
Base: S

The dialog to choose a directory never shows up. No warning or error message. Just nothing.

I don't know Scala. Is there any way to see some logs or exceptions?

Some additional info: Windows 10, used the 64-bit Installer

I have been out for a week because of the hurricane knocking out the power, but have you had a look at the graphics I made for a beatmeter?

I've looked at the pictures but I had a some difficulties putting them together. Also, I am not sure this "water effect" will look so good in a video as it probably needs to be animated and it is not enough to just move static images arround.
I will look into it, but as it needs PNGs I have to change a bit more to make this work.

You shouldn't really need to move the images. It's just 6 frames you play through when a beat hits the tip.

I have to say... this beatmeter generator makes quick work of the business of beatmeter editing. I was intimidated about moving my projects to Premiere and using After Effects just to add a meter, but your software saved the day!! I want to thank you guys for putting effort into this, and it will be my main source of beats for my upcoming Cock Hero.

No, I only got some minor suggestions. Two people used it to actually make a cockhero so far and they were pretty satisfied.
I have a few minor things that I can improve, but I am quite bussy currently. So I'll probably wait for a few more people to actually use it for a cockhero before I start to make changes.

As a total newbie to this, can anyone give me a guide on how I'm supposed to use this software? I'm quite interested but whenever I try to load an mp3 it just stalls, loading forever.

It does not support mp3, you have to convert it to wav first. Audacity or similar tools can do that.

Ah, converted to WAV, still having the same issue. I'm on windows 7 32 bit before I'm asked.

Can you provide me the wav file?
Are you sure you are loading the audio file and are not trying to open it as a save file?

I made the same mistake when I started with it. Make sure you’re using the bottom option in the file menu to import your wav file.
