Something tells me that this might not be the connection you're looking for, but seeing how you seem to be a sci-fi fan...

All of these films have actors in them that played on Deep Space Nine.

Tango & Cash – Marc Alaimo who played Gul Dukat.
Cobra – Andrew Robinson who played Garak.
Syriana – Alexander Siddig who played Dr. Bashir.
The Patriot – Rene Auberjonois who played Constable Odo.
The Frighteners – Jeffrey Combs who played Weyoun/Mulcahey.
Under Siege – Colm Meaney who played Miles O’Brien.

So either all my years of being a Sci-Fi geek haven't gone to waste or I've discovered a different link between them then you have.

Just wanted to reply quickly to let you know, now that that's out of the way, I'll get with you in PM and hammer out the details, okay?

Man, you are sharp. Way to go!

I do have to say that it was a hard riddle. If I didn't know my Star Trek actors as well as I do I probably wouldn't have spotted it as easily. And to think my parents said all those hours in front of the tv would be a waste.

In truth I have no idea yet about the tease, but I had fun searching for the answer. I've been holding onto it for a few hours now and the desire to find out if I was right or if there was some other link between them that I missed was driving me crazy. The last two actors on the list were easy for me to spot, but that's mosty because they've also been on other shows that I like, (Enterprise and Stargate Atlantis) but the rest required a little more digging.

I love riddles like this and think you should do more. Especially if they're Sci-Fi based. :innocent:

After giving it some thought I have decided that the riddle I have posted might be just as difficult as The Edge's was and I really want to see someone take advantage of this generous offer of his. So instead of answering my riddle I'm going to switch it to a radio style contest.

The tenth person to send me a PM will win the prize. Once I've recieved the tenth PM I'll post a message here, just so that my inbox doesn't get flooded, and then I'll let The Edge know who it was and let him contact you about getting your own custom tease. Good luck to everyone and thanks to The Edge for offering this up to everyone here.

Edit: The contest has come to an end and a winner has been choosen. Congratulations to justme82. The Edge should be contacting you soon about the details of the tease.
