I wouldn't just write off warnings, but I can tell you I unzipped and installed the program on my system and received no errors/alerts/warnings using a different anti-virus (Avast)

I'm glad you enjoy TeaseMe. Your soundproblem should have nothing to do with TesseMe itself. TeaseMe uses Windows Mediaplayer to play videos. Try to play the intro.mp4 directly with mediaplayer. If im guessing right you should have the same problem. Could be a missing audiocodec. Install K-Lite Basic (see first post) and try again. Other possibility: check your speaker settings. Maybe its as simple as low volume settings. Hope this helps. Have fun and maybe give us some feedback about the tease :smile:

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, if not, please point me in the right direction!

I'm struggling to get TeaseMe to run properly.
I've downloaded it and when I run it for the first time the picture on the left is not displayed correctly, instead I get a narrow band of random colour across the top of the picture area.
If I close TeaseMe and reopen the picture displays correctly.
Next I open a tease (_Challenge) but again the first picture in this fails to display, just showing the band again.
If I close and reopen again, main picture is ok, load the tease, the opening picture is ok, but the second picture now fails just giving the band.
If I close and reopen again the opening and first and second pictures are ok, but the third fails giving the band.
And so on.
If I reboot the laptop, the sequence starts again with the opening picture not displaying etc.
There are no issues with the laptop, .net framework 4 installed, all windows updates installed, latest java, latest codecs etc.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appriciated.

Thanks.

http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showt ... p?id=14172
and http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showt ... p?id=12530

Unexpected HTML-format of the page at Milovana.
Both were found through the "random tease" link.

Like I said, this TeaseMe stuff is a cinch. Just click here, download there, convert over there, use that other app., switch from mac to pc, and have a few drinks while your waiting.

@zimbobee
Have you in general problems viewing media with Windows Media Player? Or maybe a corrupt .NET Installation? Just guessing... no real idea where the problem could be. Sorry :no:

@Lurker1200
Hmm... we should maybe start a F.A.Q. There are a few teases on milovana which seems to be linked wrong. If the URL contains "showtease" TeaseMe expects a HTML-Tease and uses the html-import. But your teases are flash-teases (referenced with "showflash" instead of "showtease" in the url). Use the following URLs:
http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showf ... p?id=14172
http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showf ... p?id=12530

@Powerscotch
Did i sense some sarcasm there? ;-) TeaseMe is a very simple .NET Application. Just unpack the <1 MB archive, a optional tease of your choice and start playing. No complex installation routine and no waiting time besides downloading. If you don't like TeaseMe or if your system doesn't fit the few requirements or if unpacking a .rar is to complex for you or if you simply don't need the features which only TeaseMe can offer because of being a standalone application: Ignore it! Btw, i have a Windows PC, but i don't blame a MAC-Application for beeing only available on MAC. It's up to me to decide if its worth to change os, not the fault of the Application. Takenaga is working hard on making somewhere in the future a MAC version of TeaseMe possible, but we can't promise anything. This is all done in our spare freetime. And last thing: I would love to make teases like The Challenge or Virtual Sex available as flash or html, but thats simply not possible because of the limitations in flash and html.
No harm intended, but this was your fourth post in this thread with the same message. :innocent: :wave:

Lurker1200, those links happen to be wrong. The showtease.php script in those URLs is supposed to be for regular webteases only. The one that's supposed to be used for flash teases is showflash.php. I'm not sure why milovana mixes up the links like that.

Anyway, if you change showtease.php to showflash.php in the URLs you specify to TeaseMe, it will download them. In fact here are the links corrected below:

http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showf ... p?id=14172
http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showf ... p?id=12530

Thanks, that worked. I'm thinking it's the random tease linking that makes this happen.

I've uploaded a new script for TeaseMe at: http://www.mediafire.com/?7v775is8viz1613

It's called coin flipping.

It's a game of chance, decided by flips of a coin.

I hope you'll like it :)
