Hey everyone!
I've got the feeling it's about time for a little 'statement' about AI integration into Awakening, possibilities, ideas and ways of utilization are bouncing through the whole (not only the software-) forum, I've got a few PM's as well.
So, a few thoughts and words of mine about this:
First of all, I didn't wanted to talk about this whole AI integration topic openly, simply because I didn't tested any kind of integration yet, usally when I hint for- or announce some features, I have at least the technical base ready onto I can build the rest.
Here I have nothing yet, except quite a few ideas, ... but on the other hand, the implementaion (technically) shouldn't be much of a problem, at least for what I have in mind.
I mean, of course the idea to utilize such a 'real' AI for TeaseAI is spinning in my head for quite a while now (I'm using TAI myself, I've played with such 'real' AI's), ... it's tempting, and it is surely the next logical step, ... so ok, why not talk about it in here, just please keep in mind, I won't promise anything here (yet).

but I always dreamed about incorporating AI chatbots with Tease AI.

(Hey, I just mean the title

)
Alright, ... now here comes the catch (there is always one, isn't it?! ) ...
Right now I am working on things around the toy control, finetuning/quality of life/error catching, new command(s), a new, really cool feature not to be mentioned yet, ... and there are a few other points on the to-do-list (not all, but the ones I consider as the more important ones) I wanna work off before I open up such a new and important chapter of Tease AI, I'm quite sure the integration of 'real' AI's will bring TeaseAI to a whole new level (and you can be sure, ... I am looking forward to it at least as much as you do!

).
But yeah, in order to have my mind free for that, to fully focus on it, I'll need those other stuff to be done/out of my way first.

At least on the responses part when none would be active.
Exactly what I have in mind as the first step, ... I have more ideas and I hope I will have some neat surprises in the end on top of all that as well.
Oh, btw, ... do I read a 'HoT9' here in between the lines?

Or maybe even more that 'just' an update, ... what about a 'Tavern of Tease'?
Well, NOMI have a API now, maybe could work. (
https://api.nomi.ai/docs/) And since you can create a shared notes to personalize the NOMI, I think could work.
The free version have a 50 messages limit/day, but if you need more to test I can create one for this, since I got the pro version.
A little story:
Many, many years ago (before the original TAI was born) I've worked on some scripts for another software, I've worked on that project for around half a year when out of the sudden that software was shut down, ... all my work was in vain, those scripts only good for the trash bin.
That's how I've learned the hard way to never make yourself depend on someone's else's goodwill !!! -> imagine a thousand '!' here, I cannot express how important that is for me, ... that's also why Awakening was, is and always will be a freeware that once you have it, you can work with what you have, there is no hidden 'shut-down-switch'.
And that's also why I won't go for nomi.ai or other stuff like that, ... what if I implement their API, put countless hours into it and then they decide it would be better to let the people pay for the usage of the API, or simply shut down the whole ai, cut the free msg's down to 2 per day, raise their prizes and what not?!
What I won't wanna exclude totally right now that maybe one day I could add something on top of the main system, so that the additional usage of such paid/partly free services could be utilized as well, ... additional.
But what I have in mind will be done with freeware/open source, this keeps everything free, independent and uncensored, not to forget about privacy, everything has to run locally, ... of course that will require a decent PC (but definitely not a NASA-super-computer).
Alright, I guess that stone has started to roll.
@all: feel free to discuss this more, come up with ideas and so on, just keep in mind, it will take quite some time till anything around this will be done, ... we all will need some patience.
Best greetings,
Markus
