I have looked (I think) every discussion of the topic & am still unable to add sound (in particular a metronome) to my flash tease.

Hi!
Sound has to be added manually in the script (switch from 'visual' to 'script').
And it has to look somewhat like this:

"no-300.mp3" is the name of your sound file. It has to be uploaded like the picture files.
But beware: if you switch back to visual and you edit this page then sound commands disappear.
So better add them at the end, when the tease is completed.
In the new EOS System this is far more convenient - there is an audio:play command.

Is it just me, or is Nyx horribly broken? I just lost hours of work again when it refused to save my progress and crashed. This is happening no matter what browser I use and I'm at my wits end. If anyone knows a viable alternative to Nyx, please let me know so that I can continue my series without all this frustration.

Can anyone tell me why am i not able to see the amount of lines written on a page in the preview section..?
I have few lines ( 6-8 ) it is visible in the visual part where i am writing it, but when i go for preview, it only shows some amount and not the rest.

Not an alternative to Nyx but the way I deal with it.
Backup the code of every scene in a text file. You can even go so far to delete the code in Nyx afterwards and work on your next scene. Rinse and repeat. You only have to put it all together in the end.
I do that for safety - since it destroyed 500 pages of my first tease once - and it also saves a ton of time due to less scrolling required and very short saving time. I found that Nyx tends to have a problems with saving once it reaches ~100 pages.

Is anyone else having trouble saving anything in Nyx? I've been unable to do any work on my project for over a week now no matter what browser I use.

So I'm guessing the reason I've had no reply is that Nyx is totally broken, and nobody knows how to fix it?

When I click on the hyperlink to the editor it says I need flash and adds a hyperlink to download flash but then it says my access to it is denied. Does this mean that I cannot use Nyx?
