There is no hard rule about it. The way that it is meant to be played is that if the player were active around the time of posting an all-players task he/she has to do it (at some point). If it is impossible to do it now he/she can put it on his/her list to do the other time he/she logs in!

In the end it is about the mutual fun and/or sexual frustration the players experience doing the game. If you need to make any personal adaptions so it stays that way you are free to do so!

Even though you are not edging you may keep using the rolls and post material to make it harder on the rest of us!
