Can someone explain the Edge n Ride thing in more detail? Is it cheating if you go hands-free for a while?
... for the explorer at heart!

"Edge N' Ride" is sorta of the "next step" in edging. Edging itself is pretty straight-forward - you basically stroke the most efficient way to get as close to the point of no return (i.e. "The Edge") and once you get there, you stop stroking. "Edge N' Ride" is a bit more daring - again, get to "The Edge" but once you get to the Edge, you try to stay as CLOSE to that Edge for the rest of the duration.chfluxfan wrote:Can someone explain the Edge n Ride thing in more detail? I did, but edited a bit to include another scene and some new stroke beat rhythms.realnot wrote:Haven't watched this one yet but I did take a peek at the beginning. Did you start with the same clip used to start the "edge n ride" experimental video?
Thanks ark235 for the kind comments and good to hear the "final round reward" worked out right for you.ark235 wrote:Wow, this is really really really really good.
Scenes are awesome, as is the progression, the beats, the edging. Really like the whole thing with the host as well. The last round worked for me too, sometimes the 'reward' round seems at odds with the content but not so here.
Gonna sound really greedy now as you've literally only just released this one, but I hope you continue to make more in the future!
Thanks M4tsu0... tho not sure what you mean by "work way before Milovana".M4tsu0 wrote:always love your work way before u come to milovana, supermokkori....

Hmm... could you be a little more specific, M4tsu0? Was it predictable because the music gave you an indicator when the action would start to get more intense?M4tsu0 wrote:Round 3: little bit disappointed, the difficulty is right but it is quite predictable in terms of scene patterns
Hey tjacobs222, thanks so much for taking the time to type up such in-depth feedback.tjacobs222 wrote:Thanks SuperMokkori for your latest effort...
Technical. I had problems seeing most of the instructions and intermission scenes, as they were very overexposed and the verbage could not be read...
Also, some of the music was out of sync with the beat overlays. I am finding that after I've seen a number of these wonderful CH vids, I rely less and less on the dubbed beats. So the fact the dubbed beats were out of sync was a distraction and took away from the "fun". I would have rather had no dubbed beats rather than out of sync beats.
Both of the above "fixes" could probably be solved fairly easily with version 2.1 on your video. I am also open to the possibility the technical problem was on my end. Maybe no one else encountered the overexposure problem on intermission or instruction screens.
Hmm... well, as I don't have a Stroke Meter (and I don't plan to use one at all in the future), while some of the easier stroke beat rhythms (i.e. 1-1, 1 2 3 4, etc.,) would be pretty easy to figure out with the beat of the music, some of the more advanced RED ones I use would be a bit confusing. Furthermore, there are a few CH-style videos that don't have a Stroke Beat that I've played and for me, the stroke instructions in those videos can be somewhat arbitrary and not clear for the player. So I think having a Stroke Beat is quite important - I'll look into using another sound effect for the Stroke Beat, but chances are I'll keep using the "wood block" effect I've been using, as it's high-pitched enough that it can be heard over most heavy bass beats but I don't think it's so high-pitched where it's ear-bleeding (tho I know some users who can't stand it at all).tjacobs222 wrote:While were on the subject of dubbed beats, I am hoping all CH creators will do away with two annoying dubs. One, the chock block that was used in your vid was like nails on a chalkboard for me. Rather than a drum beat of some kind, the chock block is very tinny sounding and frankly, just hurt my ears early into the video and throughout. In fact, I think the overlay of a beat is probably not necessary anymore for these vids. After awhile, the viewer just kinda "gets it" with what's supposed to happen. A "1-1" or "double time" instruction is pretty self explanatory. Newer CH aficionados might need them, but at this point, I kinda doubt it.
I was REALLY debating whether to go this direction or use a slow-paced "frustration round of cinematic sex" in Round 8. I chose to go the kink route just to try something a little different... that and I was pretty much SHOCKED that no video tease creator had tried to use Nine Inch Nails in a video tease!tjacobs222 wrote:The other area I will mention that didn't work for me was the bondage and pain segment. I know some folks will really enjoy that (I don't mean to judge here), but for me, I really go out of my way to avoid any porn of any kind where women are subjected to severe degrading behavior or pain. I may be the only one who feels this way, but I doubt it. Food for your thought....
tjacobs222 wrote:...The music choices seemed sporadic to me, very different from one another. the volume on some of the music was really low, perhaps so that the model's voices could be heard. I imagine that's a fairly tough balance to find. Lastly, I found myself wondering if there could be fewer instruction screens at the beginning and at intermissions. After the first two or three videos someone does with CH, we kinda "get it".
tjacobs222 wrote:I did like the interplay with the two hosts, Karlie and Riley. In fact, I thought you could have used the intermissions with more Riley Ried in order to paint this little mini story of her as the troublemaker, who keeps showing up to try and steal Karlie's affections with the viewer.
I'm using the VLC-Player and had this problem. But it was not a big deal, anyhow. Thanks for this vid! Although the edge'n'ride is great, it went a bit too far in my opinion. I really loved the Riley-Intermission! Great surprise. Thanks again.supermokkori wrote:
It's weird - on any other video player I tried (Media Player Classic, WMPlayer, etc.,) I didn't see any bugs... BUT, when I tried it with VLCPlayer, text in the intermissions didn't show up on cue and then would only appear for a second and there were some Stroke Beats that were offbeat. I'll investigate to see what the problem could be. If anyone else has this problem, please reply.
Ahhhh.. .that could be it. I'll look into it more after Xmas.tjacobs222 wrote:Supermok
On the technical issues of white-out screens, just wanted to let you know I used a Mac with Quicktime player, all up to date on releases. I haven't encountered any problems with video playback on any of the other CH vids, including your first two, Ace One and Remix.
well, to be fair, the feature of edging hasn't been introduced in a lot of CH-style video teases. That said tho, I appreciate the kind comments MrDigital.MrDigital wrote:The Edging is the best in all CH-Vids!!
