Well, I haven't called an end to them, but, as has been noted by many, they take quite a bit of work to do, and the more elaborate or involved to make, take even more time....
And I've created quite a few, so sad to say am running out of new and creative ideas as well....

For me the difference is like between:
1) taking something tasty in the mouth and spitting it out

I'm not a big fan of doing tasks outside the home. Having a task to do before a tease (whenever I can get to it) would work. But for me, public things and humiliation just aren't really big turn-ons. However, something that was on the lighter on the spectrum I could get behind. Like having to say an embarassing sentence out loud.

2) Do you have toys? and what kind of?

I do like anal, I find it to be pretty enjoyable with a partner. In the context of a tease, though, I'd probably put having to wear one as something to arouse, but having to stroke with it as part of a punishment sequence most likely. However, I can see several positive scenarios.

4) and how much willpower do you have really? I don't think it's reasonable to mahe very long and hard tease if noone would finish it. Also it's not cool to make a short one that won't push your limits. For axample as I know myself I can't do teases hour long with like 20+ edges or holding edge for minutes. That's just not for me. I can't really hold edges for a long time either. I either slip and go over or the sensation of being on the edge just starts to fade a bit until I'm clearly no longer on the edge. Almost always, if I had to edge, rest, edge, rest, in a sequence I'm not getting that close to the edge unless it's really late in the tease. Probably the most annoying thing with edging is when it's out of the blue or too early on in the tease. I have had ruined orgasms. They usually occur when I slip and go over the edge just a little. I take my hands off and try to relax and not move and then next thing I know I'm having muscle contractions with none of the pleasure associated with it and my arousal is a lot lower when I do touch again. I've found that even if I start touching once I feel the contractions starting it's really not satisfying even then. I just feel jipped.
