To me, it's no wonder so many former catholic schoolchildren wind up on one side of the whip or the other. The whole religion screams BDSM-- a god who demands a man sacrifice his only son (although he did call it off at the last second).

What I find interesting isn't so much what is a part of a religion, but what the practioners of a religions choose to emphasize. Abraham's story is technically a part of Jewdism, as well as every sec of Christianity, but it is not necessarily central to each of them. For instance the whole fire and brimstone preaching of Catholisism about heavan and hell is very common. While in Jewdism you will hardly ever hear a mention of Heavan and Hell. Yet catholics will draw on the Torah (Old Testement) for explanations of why people go to Hell etc.. I think people don't often realize how much of thier central religious beliefs are not determined by the texts of thier religion, but by the people who run thier religious establishments.
just my 2 cents on an interesting topic...as to the test when you say meaningful results are you looking to classify the data into something like the Bartle Test or the Myers-Briggs Test?
It certainly is a challenge to determine the valid dichotomies and attributes that would encompass the kink world.

Well, I would consider myself as a dweeb 'without portfolio'. In other words, if there is anything not too tech that you require done (I am more artistic that tech) then I would be happy to help out (and not with expectations - I belive that devotion is its own reward).

Interesting quiz i found far more scenarios to not be arousing than i expected although I don't think i am truly submissive, that said putting down "highly arousing" to the idea of being forced to suck a dildo i guess doesnt exactly scream dominance...
Sophia earlier when you talked about the weaker sex how would you define weakness and why would you apply it to men over women?
I'm studying philosophy so i kinda love arguing but i'm asking more out of curiosity than to argue.

I completed the survey on friday; however, I'm not sure it's really complete. I had to save and return to the survey twice. Once I used the link in the generated e-mail, and the second time I used my login/password via the start of the survey. Both times I rejoined I would often get repeat questions thrown at me. My previous answer was showing and usually I just continued. Not sure what to make of it I just finished it out, but then when I looked at my results I noticed there were a lot of questions I had not answered nor were there offered to me. Now I'm not sure if this is part of the test or technical glitch, so I thought I'd mention it here.

Bump.
Completed the survey and can recommend to all. It is thorough and does cause you to ask questions of yourself you may not have otherwise!
The personality test, or a pairing of this test with a personality profile, sounds very interesting.
