Hello,
It's only my second post here, and as I said in my first one, I'm a long time lurker who recently decided to join in, just to thank the authors for their creations.
I'm rather open to different styles, so I like almost every CH videos. Particularly nowadays since I think that the overall quality is greatly increasing.
But sometimes this is just... WOW
And that's the effect CH Lust Dream made to me !
So thank you very much for this masterpiece
For me the wow factor can happens only on 2 conditions : of course the video has to match at least some of my personal tastes, but first of all it has to be unusual, not to say not consensual.
So, Frantzo and high_octane, although they are always constructive (this forum is full of nice people :), don't listen to the advices too much and please, for your (highly expected) next collaborations, do really what you feel like to do.
PS : I loved everything in CH Lust Dream (the actresses, the edition, the progression, ...), but particularly : the music selection... and the beat patterns (even if, unfortunately, I'm not a musician ; so don't simplify them too much in your next collaborations ;)
Thank you very much, frenchdude!
Lust Dream turned out to be quite a hit, it seems. Perhaps, there will be a sequel to it someday.

Thanks for taking the time to read my verbose posts!

I enjoy reading feedback from the fans and I really appreciate any constructive feedback that I receive. In fact, the new pattern beats (the gold colored ones) and the circle reticule / crosshair were introduced to address the lack of beat indicator text from French Riviera, and to aid with timing, respectively, thanks entirely to wellrested's feedback. I like to keep the interface very clean and minimal, by applying semantics to the beatmeter itself.

Hey, that's my line!

Thank you.

I remember when I used to say that to the CH creators often. It is so true. We should only work on things in a way that will bring us happiness, and that way, we can give unto our fans the result of our happiness.

Posts like yours are the fruit of our labor.
Something that I contributed to besides the beats and some of the dialogue for both French Riviera and Lust Dream is making sure that the audio levels are consistent between each round. If the player doesn't have to adjust their volume levels during the duration of those videos, then I'd say I was successful. Not sure if anyone noticed, but the audio levels during the very beginning and ending of these videos are somewhat attenuated from that of the audio levels during the rounds. I wanted the rounds to feel like the main focus, and the beginning and end to feel more chilled out, or intermission-like. Hopefully, my audio engineering efforts allowed for a more professional sounding experience and made these productions feel more polished, overall.
I also went to great lengths to make sure that the beatmeter + beatmeter audio + music all synchronized as perfectly as I could get them.
As you can tell from the trailer, the next project we are working on is much more chill.

It is more akin to French Riviera, stylistically, but it is not a direct sequel to French Riviera. Plus, there are some surprises in store that I find quite exciting.

I'm not going to spoil anything!

I hope you have fun with it once it's released!
