I may be late in trying to resond to your query and I may be totally wrong in the way that I interpreted this thread, but here I go:

I thought it would simply be a place where you met/posted and chilled. No controversy, no hectic, no need to make a point. Just something akin to harmony and, perhaps, peace.

If this interpretation isn't far off the mark, then animals as posts - such as your crocodile-baby - are just perfect to convey this message.
