Thank you and please keep upm the good, hard work.
Umm. There is a login link on the front page. It's at the top right and it's in the biggest font of the entire site. I'm guessing it was a display glitch, try pressing Ctrl+F5 to update your cache please. ;-)
Griffyn wrote:A minor cosmetic - When you you click on a user, and then the link to see their teases. I notice you fixed that it would say 'Currently viewing x teases', where x was the user's ID number, rather than their name. But if you then click the 'change filter/search' link, it still has the ID number in the Author field, rather than their name.
Fixed. Thanks.
Griffyn wrote:Also, in the change filter/search' menu, I think there should be a bit of overriding. For example, clicking any tag link should automatically remove the author filter, as in my opinion, it's unlikely anyone will want to narrow a search within a particular author's tease list by tags.
Sorry, but I disagree. The main reason for creating the new browser in the first place is so you could do precisely that. On the old site you could already search by author or by tag, but if you wanted to see just slavechylde's TOTM nominated teases you were at a loss. You can always just click reset to remove all filters.

First off, wonderful work!!
It looks amazing and makes milovana even more awesome!

Secondly, there used to be a box that displayed your last login, as well as new posts, and new webteases...
i think this was sort of adressed before but im not sure if its the same thing, thus im just throwing it out there that its very useful.
but in any case, GREAT JOB

Thanks again and as for that box... Yes, I totally agree. Do you see where it says "YOU have been last here...", I think that's where I'm going to put that information. :-)

I was noticing that the private messages seem to be sticking in the outbox for quite awhile before they appear in the sent box. Is that normal or the way it is supposed to be?

I believe they stay in the outbox until they are read by whoever you sent them to. If you change your mind and want to "unsend" the message before they read it, deleting it from your outbox will delete it from their inbox.

I don't know if this has been pointed out yet, but you get some PHP errors if you enter the name of a user that doesn't exist in the user search in the filter menu. Also, it'd be nice if casing didn't matter when you were searching for users either! :-)

I should probably start a new topic, coz it's not a bug, but something that you might be able to add easily would be either:

- In an author's profile where there is a link to show their teases, could there be a number as well indicating how many teases they have visible? Just like in their number of posts.

- In the main tease list, could there be a link next to the publisher's name eg. '(more)' if the publisher has more than 1 tease visible, that would take you straight to a list of their teases? Perhaps make the '(more)' text smaller so as not to become cluttery.

Always been this way. Outbox simply means that the recipient hasn't read the PM yet. If you send a PM the other user will get it within a few milliseconds, but obviously it can take a while until they login to read it.
Argie Slave wrote:Don't see anywhere I can get the smilies on this thing though :P
There seems to be a problem with the permissions. Same reason why Evals [ quote ] tag didn't work I'm assuming. Very strange, I'll get right on it.

Edit: Fixed. And this also fixes that people's posts in the announcement forum weren't counted. Now you can post all the smilies you want.

Mmh. Generally I don't wanna fiddle with the forum software more than necessary, because that makes it harder to update, but yeah, I think I'll do that change.

Interesting suggestion. There are some things to consider, maybe you could open a thread in the suggestion forum about it, because I don't wanna get off-topic here.

Fixed and fixed. Casing shouldn't matter now. :-)

As always, thanks for the reports.

jp wrote:I just noticed you changed the "Online" ribbon to be just an oval. I kinda liked the other ribbon, it was unique and added some flare. Why'd you change to the oval?
Well, technically the oval is a lot more unique, the ribbon is the standard that comes with the software.

Reason I had to change it was because with the template the poster information is normally on the right hand side and I moved it over to the left, but that caused the ribbon to be incorrectly displayed on the profile and view PM pages, so after a little back and forth I finally decided to use an image that is orientation neutral.

I'm getting an error when trying to enter the tease section

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /var/www/com.milovana/lib/functions.userbar.inc.php on line 29

A lot of the stories on my story thread now seem to have lost a lot of the text - they end in a short string of rubbish well before the proper end of the story. I'm not sure whether this is simply the way my browser is displaying them or whether the text has actually gone missing/corrupted.

No it's not your browser. I see the same. I hope we can fix that :-)

Surely you can... - You do make back-ups right?

(I just read this horror-story http://www.wired.com/politics/security/ ... tters_0221)
But as you started this site with saving the old teases, I am pretty sure you got backups in place...
