29.97 is default on most video editing software so we shouldn't have a problem there.
I guess we should start official sign-ups and allocation of duties soon? And find a place to talk out of the public's view.

Yeah that might be true, but having edited for a little while I know it's not enough to assume it's going to be the correct frame rate. I work in Final Cut which will just change the frame rate to whatever the first clip is automatically. I've gotten into trouble that way. That's why my first episode sucked for synching.

, so I'm just a little overly cautious, especially since I will likely be assembling it all
Yeah I was thinking I would start a new thread with like official rules and for signup purposes and we can keep using this for technical stuff. Unless you think there is a better spot we can all communicate.

Yeah make a new thread asking for people to sign up and tell them that they have to submit a round and the "beats only" audio file and tell them about the frame rate and such. Leave it open until we've got like 7 or so people (that should be enough).
Emails in Gmail are good for multi-way communication, since replies appear in a thread. Just use "reply all" instead of "reply" and we can all talk easily. And Google Drive is an easy way to share files. Drop box is also good.

Romero wrote:I'm available to do a round. Since picking up FL studio I have the "automatic" beat matching possibility too.
At least for me creating the beat meter is a non-issue, takes 5 minutes. The actual beat syncing is the bigger job. Now with FL studio and when using electronic music it should be (and is) a lot easier than previously with hammerhead and audacity and doing the whole thing manually.
Anyways, I agree that one person should do the intro/outro and the stuff between rounds and one person should do the beat meters for all rounds. They can be the same person but don't necessarily need to be.
How does FL studio make it easier to do the beats? Can you give instructions on how it makes it easier for you or the method that you use? I would love to know because that is the most daunting task, IMO.

I followed awesomex's post:

It's actually very simple. For me the hardest part was to understand the strange way FL studio works. Menus are not where they should be, things behave strangely everywhere compared to other windows programs etc. But after that the actual beat matching is pretty simple.

Okay, the new thread is up
http://www.milovana.com/forum/viewtopic ... 25&t=12627
Romero you're on stroke meters,
Jupiter you're on breaks.
I'll handle the assembling.
Jupiter, I guess we'll have to communicate on what these titles and screens should say. Depending on what the rounds are.

Totally willing to be one of the first seeders if it means I get early access to this baby.

I would like to help, but I don't want to learn all the software and fill my laptop with programs.
Is there another way I can help? Possibly writing the help/hinder text, if anyone plans on using that, like other CH have done?
Or some other way I can help, playtesting, maybe for different skill levels? Anything else? Find music?

Quite busy with non-CH-project but I'd like to contribute a round... is there a deadline?
