I thought this was awesome!
Loved the ending and the fact you tried to mix it up with some surprises all the way through.
Bonus round was great
Editing was great.
Was a lot of fun to play
Only minor points..... yes the beats were a little hard to follow at times... especially the skyfall round.. i had no idea where that was going and it was a little hard to follow what was happening on screen.
Overall though it was superb! and refreshing that you tried to keep it interesting with the surprises... this seems to be a forgotten factor of CH these days and it was these little things that helped make some of the originals so good and unique. Hope to see more from you soon!

Two minor points:
1) I thought the beats in the "god mode" of the breaks would get progressively more difficult over time.
2) There were too many complicated beats in a few rounds, especially 2 and 3. I was watching the meter more than the video during those rounds since there were so many changeups.
Hehe thnx:).. I didnt spend too much time on the break parts.. ur suggestion would be something to look into if I make part2 :) and yea I have to agree that some beats in round 2 and 3 are hard to follow.. but I thought the scene is too nice to cut it out.. so I just left it there

Thanks glad you liked it... same as above:p I agree that the beats in round 2 are to hard to follow.. Will improve it if I make another ch.

Very solid addition, thank you!
As someone who thinks the most innovative aspect of the CH genre is the melding the 2 most addictive things on the internet, I not only liked that there was a beat meter, but the bonus round was a great idea. Putting points in seems like an obvious step but it was fun, even though it's maybe a little corny. Plus the nod to classic video gaming was a nice touch. The rounds before the bonus were pretty safe, but then I ended up losing at about 60k points on my first viewing.
I'm not sure what to say about the beats... they were probably too complex at times, but I really liked them. I think the 2-1-2-2/1-1-2-2 pattern took me half the song to get right but once I did I appreciated the groove of it. If nothing else, I'm much happier playing through a video that makes a connection between the music and the beats I'm following.
I also really liked round 8. There's something about that up-tempo, unrelenting clapping that adds intensity for me and that reminded me a lot of the very last round of Hardcore 4 if you've played through those. Plus I just like Christie Mack. :) Also part of what I liked about round 8... a few rounds had the break before them be lead-ins with the girls and the music (2 and 8 for example), which is a nice touch that I think you should consider doing for every round if you make another. (Please make another. :) )
-- Oh, and of course my usual request for a little more scene audio mixed in. I've noticed a few videos that start adding it towards the end of each round but not at the start, which seems like a good approach to me.

I really enjoyed this work. Your timing was really compelling. I really enjoyed the pace from innocent tease to intensity.
Sometimes your beats were a little tough to follow and that was distracting, but not so much you couldn't get to the next good part.
Thank you.

some moron who didn't double-check his problems before writing about them on a forum wrote:Can't read it!
I have observed "CH - Mindwarp" successfully via the streaming web pages, and I have successfully caused a bit-torrent client to download it and saved it onto my hard drive (twice!). However, my media players (VLC, Windows, others) won't read the thing.
Maybe it has something to do with the ultra-size of the thing? It's one of the few files over 4 Gigs that I have.
Maybe it has something to do with extra oddball or special codecs, or any other settings in the media player.
I don't see anyone else making this point on the forums so it's probably me. But it's odd, since I don't have trouble with any other downloaded CH videos that I get via torrent.
Your thoughts?
Whoops. It fixed itself in VLC. Still won't read in Windows Media Player. Weirdness?

The dancing girls in the GIG clips are fucking amazing--especially Nike sweater girl. I want more of her and just created an account to ask where you found her--so funny someone else wants to know. HELP!

IMO, this is one of the best CH's for "getting in the zone." It really hypnotizes me, puts me into a trance-like state of horny porny ness. I think the name "Mindwarp" is particularly appropriate due to that fact. The jump-cuts, the flashing back-and-forth from one scene to another and then back to the first one, the stringing together of similar clips with different girls, it all messes with my mental rhythm to take me over. In a good way.
It's not ideal for me -- some of the preferences of the creator are different from my own -- but I am very impressed with the way that the video (independent of source-vid choices) is put together and overall produced. Well done!

Is there a smaller version of CH-Mindwarp already created out there?
book_guy wrote:Whoops. It fixed itself in VLC. Still won't read in Windows Media Player. Weirdness?
I was having trouble getting it to play properly, and found that VLC was the only solution. But now I'm realizing that it's just a problem with file size. It's too damn big! You may recall that I narrated a bit of my trouble in this thread (or maybe you actually have a life and didn't read my socially inept public obsession with minor personal technical difficulties).
Mindwarp is one of the few videos that I have, which is over 4 Gigabytes in size. It's recommended that if you're going to try to store and access files that are larger than 4 Gb, you should use the NTFS rather than the FAT file system. But by default, most disks are formatted in FAT. Well, I just built a disk-partition that was NTFS, moved the CH-Mindwarp.mp4 file over to it, and tried again. Tah-dah, it worked fine in a lot of media players. (Wait. Did I get that backwards? Is it NTFS or FAT that's better for files over 4 Gig?)
Although I do appreciate having high file quality, I think I'll suffer the loss in ultra-pixel-beauty for a little bit more portability and utility. If there's not already a low-res or medium-res version of CH-Mindwarp available maybe I'll download a free video-converter and make one. I wouldn't be able to host it or upload it for very long, though, so I'm thinking it's probably more useful for the group if someone with better computering skills does it.
Is there a smaller version of CH-Mindwarp already created out there?

I hope there will be a Mindwarp 2. The first one was the best Cock Hero so far, in my opinion. And yes, I got them all.

I agree. This is one of the best Cock Hero videos I've played. The Tetris round in particular was amazing.
