The first spank came way too early (or, my edge way too late - depends on how you want to put it)
For the most of the other ones I was typically some 3-5 seconds too late.
Only once (at the beginning of the last scene) I got it exactly right.....and then indeed had to furiously fight back an actual orgasm..that was VERY close.
It was really fun to try to predict the right moment and then speed up or slow down accordingly. I suppose one could 'train' by repeating the clip often enough, but I left it at this 'one-time-only' view for now.
