I have a query.
How are the edges counted
As well as pauses and holds timed?

There is no rule on pause time or holding. and I count an edge as if you don't stop you will come. That clear things up for you? I can edge pretty quickly when horny.

Then you are lucky not to have 10 second holds and 30 second pauses, or worse,
