You can always try again if you do not want to take the chance ;) Maybe it is wise to start with it instead haha.. Sometimes it will depend on the group performance and sometimes it will be individually (whether you will get a punishment/reward or not).

It only says you should roll an additional time. So in this 'unlucky' or 'lucky' case (depending on what you prefer) it just adds one to your rolls within this section (so in this highly unlikely situation that means 3 + 1 + 1 (optional) = 5 times in this section haha).
