Hello *soft smile*
I am sorry that you were offended by what we are posting this week. If you have been enjoying things up until now, check back on Monday, there will be a new theme.
I thought that, as a modern society, we were beyond killing innocent animals unnecessarily. Just think of the majestic bear that was killed to make a rug, and tell me it was worth it.

Sorry this got to me in many ways and I have to reply:
1) Shell gave you a very polite response to your criticism and yet you just have too push it and try to lay the bleeding heart guilt trip.....If you don't like it don't look at it!!
2) Yes bears certainly do look majestic on the cover of National Geographic, but take it from someone who has lived his whole life deep in bear country, they are wild animals and if their numbers aren't kept in check (by wildlife experts) they become dangerous and nuisances from overpopulation and competition for food. Ever have 1 come in your house while you were cooking breakfast in your underwear??? bet your attitude of majestic and innocent would change mighty quickly!.......and yes I did eat that 1 mmmm good!!
3)Everyone has opinions and I am not saying you are not entitled to yours, but you need to respect others opinions that may differ. I am not a fan of gay porn but I'll be damned if I would go to a forum and try to tell the people that enjoy it that they are evil and wrong.
4)There are hefty fines for possessing and illegal fur and poaching and I am certain that all furs in this forum were harvested LEGALLY.
I could go on forever on this topic. I do appologize If I have over-reacted but I had to speak my mind

Sorry if I came off as a jerk, but that's my opinion. And with this being a public forum, I don't think I was out of line.
1. It wasn't directed at shell, it was directed at the concept that wearing and sexualizing furs is okay. I didn't post any graphic images or descriptions, as many would do, and I didn't insult anyone.
2. Yes they are wild animals, and they are dangerous, and sometimes they need to be destroyed. The fur industry is a totally different thing; the bears killed for safety reasons aren't the ones being made into rugs, I assure you. Most animals killed for fur are farmed:
http://www.webcitation.org/5kwpYHoMs.
3. Do you hear the rampant hypocrisy? Here you are criticizing me about my opinions. And comparing gay porn to the fur industry is BS and you know it. Gay porn doesn't hurt anyone, but I think the animals killed would beg to differ that the fur industry doesn't.
4. Legal or not, it's still disgusting and unnecessary.
If I can prevent the sale of even one fur, that would be worth much more than those who I "offended". I'm not going to post further on the topic though; I think I've said enough.
