Getting turned on, or "high" from spankings, doesn't happen to everyone. Some see it as a punishment. Some offer their bottoms to their Dominate person because the Dominate enjoys watching the bottom turn color right before their eyes....enjoys watching their little one squirm.......and the pleasure the submissive gets from making their Dominate happy is the high in itself.

For me.....as long as it does not cause blisters, or wounds.....and all traces of the spanking is gone within two hours, I can drop into sub space faster with spanking, then just about anything else.

I suppose it's like some men like the pain from CB&T, while others say "hell no". Same thing can be said with nipple pain or just about anything.

Each of us have things that simply get us aroused. Some people can't get into certain things, because of their past.
