Good morning boys!

Is everyone working on their 20 edges for Miss Jay?

My poor husband doesn't get to do any today. He's all locked up and I'm wearing his key! And he won't be home until late tonight so he won't even have much chance to beg me to unlock him.

Hi Alex  !

It's not too bad over here. It's actually very pretty outside - very sunny today! Too bad I'm inside...

Next Monday is a holiday here and I'm hoping to be able to skip work on Friday and get a 4 day weekend. That's definitely something to look forward to!

Good morning MistressD!

I am working on the 20 edges for today....I think that will be a tough challenge!

It is really nice down here too today! I'm thinking about taking Thur and Fri off and making a 5 day weekend out of it!

For her. :-P Because she will get very excited but then i'll have to disappoint her and say 'no'.

aria
But Aria, if you had seen how much fun Mistress D was having while she did this to me, you wouldn't want to deny your lady friend that pleasure.

It's not that bad either - it just hurts like hell and you want to die for a few minutes (that feel like hours). But once it's over, the absence of pain feels wonderful!

Labor Day or should it be called Party Day?

And now i see that you also celebrate Columbus Day, despite the fact that it wasn't Columbus the one who discovered America.

aria
We're hosting two different parties this weekend so Party Day might be a better name for it! If it warms up enough, they'll even be pool parties.

And I don't think most of the country really celebrates Columbus Day - it was a big deal on the east coast where there are lots of Italians, but here in the midwest no one seems to pay too much attention to it. I know in some areas where there are lots of scandanavians they celebrate Leif Ericson day (although he may not have been the first European to get to America either - and of course there were native Americans here for thousands of years before that...)

Mistress D
It's hard to be proven who was the first non-native in American land. Maybe Ericsson, Egyptians, Greeks... but of course not Columbus! :-P Take a look at this page... it's very interesting! :-)

For those who like photos, here is Machu Picchu in Peru. Egyptians and Greeks had shared their knowledge with Inkas. Ι want so badly to visit this place but my wallet cannot afford it.

aria
Maybe you have this all backwards Aria - maybe it was the Incans who shared their knowledge with the Greeks and Egyptians!

I'd also love to go to Machu Picchu someday - maybe that could be the next present my husband gives me!

There's an Aztec pyramid in Mexico with hieroglyphics of an Egyptian God. :-) Since Aztecs haven't been to Egypt, i'm pretty sure that the Egyptians had been to America.

Anyway, i hope Birdman will make you the present you told! Cuba is wonderful destination for holidays! :-D

aria
You have to try and kill Fidel though. No point in going other wise.
