Cams seem to be a variable none at all then when video is set up a several join in.
I think it's a promotional thing.
But both private and public cams are used.

I was going to send Seraph0x a PM but I think I will post this here instead .
on monday I tried to get into the chat room with Shell , we were talking on messenger and thought it would be fun to go into the rooms like we use to .

every time I tried to post anything I got a pop up saying that I would reconnect with the server in three seconds and Shell told me that I was entering and quiting the room over and over

I don't know computers as well as I should , is the problem with my computer or is it somewhere in the system

Monday the chat was down for maintenance, so I'm pretty sure that was the issue here. Please do let me know if this happens again!

So. I can't get onto chat. I am connecting and conecting and connecting. But, alas I don't connect

Yeah, the server was down again, I just restarted it.

We just activated cams a few days ago, so although it may have been coincidence, I'm going to assume that the server issues are indeed related to video chat.

I've disabled cams for now. There is still one more thing I can try, so cams will be back soon for one last attempt. If it crashes again after that, cams will be disabled permanently, sorry!

Cams are re-enabled, let me know if they work or not!

For those who are interested: What I'm trying now is to use a standalone Red5 server process for the video chat instead of the built-in one. Hopefully that helps to isolate the chat server from problems with video chat.

I am not sure if it's me or not. I did updates and now my computers gone bonkers. But I can't get onto chat.

Works for me at the moment. Are you getting an error? Can you describe what happens when you try to access chat?

I have been trying to load for about 3 hrs - grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Chat restarted. This seems to be a new problem. The chat server is running fine, but the connection process doesn't go through. (Despite what UI says, it actually is able to connect, but the next couple of internal messages that are supposed to be exchanged between server and client don't happen.)

I'm going to try the oldest "lazy admin" trick in the book and just set the chat to restart automatically once per day. We'll see if that helps. Please post here if you notice it being down, thanks!
