I'm sorry, these teases don't follow a strict format and there aren't very many of them, so it's not possible to import them in any way. Ok, second thought there might be a way. But for now we'll focus on what we have: A PCM2 script importer. We'll try to contact other PCM2 authors and bring you as much content as possible from that direction before hitting you with the interactive editor.

We are well aware of that (it's also a problem in the original) and we've fixed a few instances where this occurs. Maybe, if you see this error, just write down the exact text and I'll find it in the tease, look at that page and fix it.

of course in PCM2, you could get around the random pics by specifying which pic went with each [action #] using the .image command in the script. maybe can implement something like this for the new flashteases...

as a suggestion for another tease port, i'd like to put forward Torture Tease (tt). it can be found here

I have to admit that i started to turn it into a tease here late last year but never got around to finishing it as it can be quite long and at last count i think i was up to 118 pages and was about 1/2 way through it. i had the tease running in PCM2 whilst adding the pics and text into the tease editor here, very time consuming. I could name several more too but will leave that for later as this was my all time fav for PCM2

Well-done!
I remember when HOT was "big" at Yahoo groups and hosted it for a while so folks could download w/o a quota block. Avatarbr continues to impress, and it's great to see him back in the community.

Dude, how do you think we are displaying the map? Of course we can specify which pic to display. The difficult part is going through every action and checking whether the text matches the picture. As I said, we already fixed a few of these occasions and if you can tell me the exact spot where it doesn't match, it takes me about 2 minutes to fix it.

Keep those suggestions coming. If there are a few opinions we can vote on what script to implement next. TT would be a hot candidate for me, too. Anybody got an idea whether we can contact the author? PM me.

I think this flash Tease's very great, even if I don't explore all the rooms yet.
I have a question: isn't possible to download the flash tease so that I could do that even without connection? In my opinion it should be useful...

If you have any questions about the logic/control flow in TT, feel free to ask. You might also like to refer to the PCM3 version of the tease, which I think captures the control-flow much more succinctly, and isn't constrained by the PCM2 state-machine semantics.

I'll look into it... But no promises. The conversion of the PCM2 version would be pretty much automatic. Our script language easily does what PCM3 does, but I'd have to a lot more manual changes. So we'll see.

yeh you know when you have to stroke to that beat is it 1beat for up and the 2nd for down or 1 beat for a full strok cuz i dont rly know

One Beat = Up and Down
That was always my interpretation. But it's certainly up for debate.

hey solipsist, where can i d/l the pcm3 ver of TT?? have used pcm3 a bit but always went back to pcm2.

Obviously pcm3 was never finished, but it still has one advantage over all similar programs: the source code is freely available.
It would be great if you guys would release the source to the flash tease generator.
