Les, I was under the impression we were friends. Now, if you're pissy because of Shell's attitude, fine.
Indy, would you please explain, publicly or privately what "attitude" Shell has had?

To Lady X/Shell, I don't even know what to say. I expected a bit of maturity, but this is the second temper-tantrum you've thrown, simply because you didn't get your own way. And deleting your original post, to be replaced with "Screw it ... " .. I mean, how does one respond to that?
You are absolutely right Indy, I shouldn't have deleted the original post and have edited things to reflect the original post.
I deleted it because I was pissed, plain and simple. HOWEVER, I did not delete it because I "wasn't getting my way". I deleted it because it pissed me off the way your original post spoke to "Shell" and not Me.
I don't give a rats ass how other "switches" feel or react. But Shell and I, although we share the same body, we are TOTALLY different! It was rude and it pissed me off. PERIOD! And your "personal note" (And on a personal note, I should apologize, as I originally replied to you as Shell. That was a faux-pas on my part. Sorry!) did not correct the error, only amplified it.

I still don't get it....
So caught inside your own head...refusing to see past that fact someone made a mistake....and apologized....
I know you have issues with Indy....i have seen the e-mails, the comments.... but there is no need for this....
this temper tantrum.....this child-like fit of rage because of a simple honest mistake....
pathetic....

I just hope all the drama, attitudes, and anger will not cause the administrator to suspend or even shut down this site. This is much more drama than I would want to deal with if it were me. So maybe everyone can just zip it and deal with it so you don't ruin it for everyone.
I do not know the facts and do not care to. But from reading these threads....
My thoughts: If you asked nicely for something and it didn't go your way, DEAL with it privately or leave! Nobody is forcing anyone to be here. Many of us still love being here... sans drama. Oh, & who remembers the word 'tolerance'?
I think most of us are okay with constructive criticism. But when it becomes hateful, spiteful, or badgering, you need to open a can of 'shut the fukk up' and take a drink!
Think of the people on this site as you would in a job (for those of us who have a job) or in real life: You will rarely like everyone you come across. But you deal with them like an adult... and probably try to ignore them the best you can otherwise. There will always be assholes, but there's not a lot you can do about them. What are your options? Learn tolerance or leave. Also, most of us were taught this: 'If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.' Opinions are like assholes: everybody has one.
I am so glad I'm not (really) involved and don't know the full story. But like it was mentioned, this is a FRIGGIN' WEBSITE for crying out loud, an ESCAPE from REAL life!! Sheeesh, have some respect or leave the site and make your own.
GAWD I love free speech!

Don't worry, this has happened before and I'm sure it'll happen again.
Here is a quote from me from the Team forum. It was August 2008 and there was a massive fight going on between Ashe and Christie. A lot of prominent members left. In fact very few people from before that are still here. Here's what I wrote:
seraph0x wrote:What is a moderator supposed to do if people just can't stop fighting each other and making themselves look stupid in the process?
The answer is: Nothing. I can try and comfort people as a friend, but as an admin, this stuff is none of my business. This site is merely a place to meet and communicate, I can neither force people to be here, nor force them to be all nice and happy and sunshine all the time.
Nor would I
want to. You really said it best:

I don't think that a little drama will kill milo..
BUT.. and thats the most important.. I don't understand why the drama is there at all

...
I mean, we're all a bunch of super kinky and fun people who are living our lives while exploring our fantasies and totally accepting those (sometimes) naughty things as a part of who we are.
Isn't that great.. We're a great crowd, everyone of us is unique !!
Please take a moment, close your eyes, and think about that, essentially no one wants to cause drama or argue. We're just different and escalation happens, but never because someone wanted to annoy or hurt someone.
And.., heck if you want a log feature that bad, just write a grabber(or ask someone to do it for you) that saves all sent messages to a .txt file...

*imagines soccer rules: yellow-card = warning or else you may be red-carded & kicked off the site at the discretion of the administrator/referee*

stop interfering

Perhaps if you resolved your issues in private then others wouldn't interfere. By making your spat public then it is not up to you to tell people whether to interfere or not.
The similarity to a football ref is about right - whatever you do you are disliked. No need for bannings or warnings for this type of stuff though. Those that don't like the place are free to leave. Maybe if they have so many great ideas they can start up something new and add to the community...

I don't actually have a comment on the drama unfolding. None of my business, but I did want to address this much anyway. Thank God, someone actually understands the idea of free speech. We're rather fortunate to have found a place with an administrator who "gets" it. Free speech isn't just for those who agree with you. Sometimes you just have to put up with things you don't like too.

My final word on all this.
It was the method of implementation I had a problem with.
I am over it now.
I have no enemies and offer friendship to every one.
Strange how much kerfuffle occurred.
