Looks like Yadayo has gotten rid of their free-to-use model as part of their attempts to monetize themselves.
If I understand the system right, you get 100 free messages a day with the cheapest models, and progressively less as the models get more advanced.
Not unreasonable by any means (yet), but still a bit of a shame. Especially considering I found quite a few characters/scenarios I enjoyed since discovering Yodayo through this thread.
Edit: Wrote models again instead of characters/scenarios because my brain is dumb.

Yeah. When I first joined, chat cost one bean per chat and you got 150 free beans a day. Then they made all chats free. Then they made some chat engines cost beans and one was still free but it was a good one, so no one cared. Now it's 100 free beans a day and the engines cost 1-3 per reply. That said, 33-100 free interactions is still really good. And if you're a creator, you can get 100-200 additional free beans a day, so it's still a pretty good site. I have some popular bots, so I have like 29000 beans banked and I mostly use them for image generation (5-10 beans per image and it takes several images and up-resses to make a good one.) All in all, I think Yodayo is still fun despite all the changes and it's still my favorite of the AI chatbot sites I've tried.

Yodayo just announced a change of policy that will probably eliminate all these bots on or after 8/12, so interact with them while you can. I'm trying to find a spot to re-up them once Yodayo dies. Any suggestions?

I really don't want to sound like a broken record, but this is the second time (?) you look for a new 'place to be', ... and if you find one, you'll never be safe from that there it doesn't start all over again (going commercial (or at least 'too' commercial/expensive, or simply kicking your bots).
Besides the privacy advantages (the privacy issues are stopping me personally from playing your bots btw.) the advantages of Silly Tavern are obvious:
- It's free
- It's safe for your bots to be kicked

Some other advantages:
- Open source
- Free choice of AI models
- Privacy (all the main features running local)
- A lot of additional (extra-) features, I think mostly about great TTS- and voice recognition features (you can basically talk with your bot)

Yes, it has, of course, also disadvantages, the installation might be a pain in the ass and unless you don't have a super computer it takes longer for generating answers, ... but if you have your bots maintained and running in Silly Tavern you could always take that as the starting point and host your bots (based on what you have as Silly-Tavern-ready) elsewhere.

Not sure if it's only for those of us who followed you on Yodayo, but your bots still seem to be working ok by the way. Thanks for your work, and looking forward to any updates on Evil Stepmommy - best tease ever!
