man, what's even happening? i can't find any official statement on what's going on or even if a fix is being worked on, and at this point the site has been broken for almost a week.

There was a notice posted on reddit (r/milovana) but all it says is they're having technical difficulties and be patient, and the thread is locked for comments.

I've long believed it's only a matter of time until Milovana just stops working one day and never comes back.
There seems to be only one person that has access to the site to address these kinds of things, and if anything ever
happens to that person the next major technical failure would be game over for the site.

From what I can see, main admin, and author of everything here, including EOS editor, is seraph0x. From his public profile we can see that:
He has been working here for 16 years. That's amazing.
His last post was over 1 year ago. That's a bit worrying.
His last activity/visit was about 2 weeks ago. That's better .

But in the same way we don't know how many planets in the universe have life, because we have only sample of one. Here we don't know how often seraph0x visits this place, because we have only two samples, one per year. Science . I think we need to wait and keep our fingers crossed.

And keep in mind that I'm quite new here so maybe I'm wrong about everything .

I have posted about the in the moderator forum, but only one person who can fix it sadly, who is hopefully enjoying a nice Christmas break

For me the website has also been painfully slow for the past 10 days or so. Also, I can't seem to upload images at all to EOS webteases, either using the "Galleries" or "Files" tab. Also, when I try to upload a new avater, I get the error "Temporary folder could not be found or is not writable.".

I have applied the 'fix' by edger477 in post viewtopic.php?p=339413#p339413

btw, maybe not the right thread for this question, but how is Milovana supported? Who pays for the servers etc? This seems like a pretty active website, with hundreds if not thousands of active users at any moment. If there were some donation/subscription method, Milovana could be run more professionally, with some kind of compensations for volunteer web devs. It is kind-of insane that all this is maintained by one guy, who might not have the time to fix issues for weeks on end. I would love to pay a few bucks per month to support and motivate the devs!
