Excellent info, and I'm sure some creators (esp. newer ones just trying out the genre) will find it quite helpful for directing any otherwise-undirected questions. But of course, the best creative work should not strive to follow rules or survey results. Don't let it squelch your instincts, but nevertheless it can probably be helpful.

I find that all of the results tend to confirm my own understandings of what "mainstream" preferences are likely to be. I guess the biggest surprise for me was learning that the readership is heavier European than North American. That, and the strong preference for story-lines, which I would have predicted only slightly, and not to such a great degree. Otherwise everything seems to fall into place in a rather "standard" or expected manner.

(On a personal note, I'm hoping that maybe now some of the surprise-scenes which confront the viewer with generally unexpected, totally unrelated to the rest of the video, content such as scat, anal-prolapse, gay, or trans-sexual conversion therapy, may be slightly more discouraged now? Uh, please, discouraged? Yeesh.)

I just read the full results and you guys have provided great suggestions.
Here's my list of your ideas that I like the most:

"There's a disturbing lack of videos with a focus on tits"
"Beta / Censored Version"

As you can see I have a strong bias towards softcore.
But I also love these (though I would rather have them after lots of teasing):

I hope creators will consider!

Great data points, I have to say a few were a bit of a surprise and some not really :D

It would be fascinating to do this yearly to see developing trends and deviations from year to year.
