Re: Curious about how folks define "softcore"

See for me my opinion of softcore is more a focus on sensual scenery and light foreplay. In "softcore" I don't even have the no males stigma or no genitals of any kind stigma(that one is extremely out dated IMO). A penis being shown when it is done sensually to show desire between lovers is fine. Example: a man/woman sees their significant other naked and then gets naked to join him/her and it progresses to mutual touching of each others bodies and or kissing (not genitals) as long as it doesn't progress to to anything that could be considered beyond mutual/sensual closeness (no 1 person pleasuring the other and no full on sex, sex can be implied though just not shown)
Examples: the showing of the complete form of a single human body, man or woman, clothed or nude. Or the showing of a couple either, apart from each other looking at one another, either clothed or nude OR in mutual embrace wrapped around each other and only kissing/touching each other not on the genitals.
For me anything that fits the bill above I consider softcore.
Weird way of putting it, anything you can do on a nude beach and not get a public indecency indictment/bother other beach goers is fine.
