Great concept, well executed.
First half of the video, near perfect. Second half, beats too fast and too complex leading to looking at the beats not the action.
Still great fun though.

Have you thought about using the interactive demo thread and your tinder idea to implement some user choice in the matches? May well require more rounds to be written but could be a fun ongoing project for you

Update: I have now updated the video and added a beat-change-indicator
plus a beat-pattern-indicator which will guide the player through the
more complex parts of the video.

I finally found the time to play it. Twice. In one day.

When I started my first playthrough, I was waaay too exited! The intro was SO well done (I love the font you used and that short clip of that smoking guy was such a cool detail! I was immediately impressed by it, because it's such a coolish and creative way to add some identity to it without renouncing anonymity – so cool)! Right from the start the whole thing promised: This is going to be really good!

And it was!

To be honest, I failed right at the first round. Like I said, I was exited as hell. The girls in the first round were so insanely sexy. I loved their classy and elegant look! I haven't even saw them before! The whole setting of the clips was completely new to me as well. I really loved that private-room-in-a-luxury-stripclub-feel! The music was so cool and catchy! When the last girl with the blonde wild hair seduced me to cheat, I couldn't hold back. You messed with my psyche! This round was definately my favorite!



Overall, I really liked your selection of girls! Of course, I liked a few more than the others. But they were all exiting to look at! Excellent!

The scene-selection was also very good! However, I was a bit disappointed that Heidi didn't solo danced for me! I was looking forward for that and I expect that to be made up in the next video! As you know, I'm not a fan of hardcore-scenes. Especially not the kind you've used in the later rounds – it got very dirty, very fast. Like I said, I barely watch or enjoy hardcore porn at all. But when I do, I mostly like the more soft/romantic/sensual stuff.



But that's just personal preference and no critique at all!

The editing was excellent as well! The whole tinder-app-look was so well done! The chatboxes were clean and crisp, everything was well placed! You designed with the video with a lot of love and care! You spared no effort, like even having the little profile-pictures of the girls animated/in motion! The color-settings, swipe-animations – everything very well done!

Speaking of the swipe-animations: Sometimes the swipe happened a bit too quick, so I couldn't read all the funny and easter-egg-like profile descriptions – like the Bonnie Tyler Lyrics!

I have to admit that I also had some struggles with the more complex beats. Sometimes it was hard to follow the scenes and the beatmeter simultaneously, because I was so focussed on getting the beat pattern right. When the beats became pretty hard to do (because they were so fast), I switched from stroking one down + one up per beat to one down/one up per beat, which made the beats much more pleasureable to me. Maybe it was even intended this way?

I can clearly see all the work you've put into this (and I'm glad that you've put in the extra work to incorporate the chat messages)!

Yes, perhaps that is the way to go.

I hate to say anything negative, because I truly appreciate how much work goes into these things, but I also like to be constructive because maybe it can help in some way..

The idea and execution of this is awesome and at the levels of the all-time great cock hero's.

The fast complicated beats kinda ruined it for me. I just wanted to get lost in the scenes but following complex fast beats totally ruined the immersion I'm afraid...

Perhaps you could re-edit a version with some more simplified patterns?

I always use Vindicare's Flux series as the bench mark for all-time greatness, and that video never had more than a couple of beat changes and they were all simple. Things don't have to be complicated to be awesome.

name-dropping à la „you should do it like supermokkori and vindicare did“ somehow annoys me -
because it doesn‘t lead to anything. I‘ve seen the old videos - and like most of you out there played
them countless times. But things change. They came out years ago. Hundreds of new videos have been made since then.

Its frustrating when you work on a video for months and ppl complain because the beats are different from videos that have been made years ago. Don’t get me wrong - I’m happy for any feedback and I fully understand the issue you guys seem to have with the beats. I tested the video several times - and of course I new it would be hard, a real challenge.
But in conclusio, after a somehow failed attempt: you want us creators to just copy old stuff? If its just about the simplest of simple beats, I could also just run my metronome while watching any random-clip in yp, just saying.

Sometimes you have to try new things in order to move on and get better.

I wanted to have more complex beats and make a really difficult video.
Its seems I failed with this. Maybe I will rename it to Cock Hero - Fail 2

I agree with you 100% about pushing things and not copying other people, and you have certainly raised the bar with your ideas and innovation here in my opinion.

However, I don't feel that beat patterns are what make these videos what they are. The beats are simply part of the mechanics and not anything that will ever make anyone say "wow what a great video". What the beats can do however, if they are a little awkward to follow, is lower the general enjoyment and even spoil a video completely in some cases. The beats are a little like a referee in a game of soccer... if the referee is good, people won't even notice him...if he is bad however, he can totally spoil the game.

I'm not saying your beats are that bad, far from it in fact. But they were just that bit OTT that they stopped the flow and killed the vibe a little. I'm only even commenting at all because I believe everything else you have done is awesome. If it was a bad video I wouldn't even have bothered commenting.

And I hear you that it is annoying to be compared to others, and I'm not comparing styles or "good or bad" or whatever, just saying that there is a reason certain videos are held in high regard, because they come across as effortless... like, they just work.

Anyway, you are entitled to be pissed with the criticism, I myself would be annoyed at that too, and believe me I am grateful for guys like you posting such great pieces of art on here, I just thought maybe I could constructively add my 2 cents maybe to help you raise the bar even higher. Of course, if you disagree, no biggie. It's a forum for opinions and sharing views after all.

There's no way that I would consider this to be a failed Cock Hero. It's certainly difficult. I can really respect this one for its novel concept. I understand that innovation is your goal, and I respect you for pursuing that.

When I criticize a work, whether positive or negative, I try not to infringe upon your, or anyone else's, artistic vision by making decisions for them. I make suggestions only. It is ultimately up to the creator's discretion to decide what should be done to rectify their work, if anything. At the end of the day, it is your prerogative, and not anyone else's.

I hope that the criticism doesn't discourage you. I love all of your Cock Heros and I always look forward to what you put out, Mr123.

I appreciate your attempt and I think the complicated beats are fun and break the mold.

I think that in some cases, the beats were too close together for a full stroke. So I had to get creative. In one case, there was a pattern similar to 1-2-34-- and I ended up going halfway down for the first two beats and then all the way down on the third and then back up on the fourth. This is unorthodox and improvisational on my part, but the fact that your video facilitated this was a good thing for me. If only there were some kind of beat solution that could handle both directions and intensities.

I was frustrated during the "eye-contact" part because I usually make it a game to not look anywhere else when the model on screen is looking at the camera. However I had to break eye contact to adjust to the beats. That round was still very hot.

Another point. Feedback is great but you have to remain true to your vision. If you wanted to make complicated beats, there is no point in listening to the people who want to stroke to a metronome.

First of all, I think it's completely fair that you don't like the "just do it like x or y did in their CHs". I really agree that it's good that creators try new/different things!

However, I suspect that at least part of the feedback comes down to that people have different ideas about what should be difficult in a CH. Should it be difficult in itself to stroke to the beats (one extreme seen in the feedback boils down to "I can't physically move my hand like some of those beats indicate") or should the difficulty rather by about enduring until the end?

I think fundamentally that is what the frustration appears to be about; and maybe it's a fair conclusion that many viewers are "filthy casuals" who prefer the latter type of challenge over the CH mechanics themselves being challenging.

Anyway, I want to underline that it is a really cool video that you put together!
I will gladly accept being a "filthy casual", if the idea was indeed to have challenging CH mechanics. I had fun regardless, even if I couldn't strictly follow the beats!

You´re all right, its a case of different expectations/definitions.

When I made my tests, I always felt as if the last two rounds are really really difficult to beat in every term.
But it was almost the same with the other videos I did before. When I made for example Nduro, when I testet it, I thought it would be impossible to beat.

In general, when playing a CH, I hardly ever make it to the last 2 rounds, because any beat would make me give up that day (after a certain time)
But I also remember sessions where I could play 2-3 hours in a row, almost any production - so you never really know, especially when producing a video. Whats hard? If you fail? Who is the one to decide. So you always shoot in the dark, in a certain way

Besides the beat being too complicated (as mentioned by many people), could you also include an endroll with all the ladies names? I especially like to know the dark haired lady in the warmup round. She appears in the intervals. Too bad she did not get matched... maybe in the Tinder 2?

Well, i dont see any of these comment mention vindicare and super mokkori other than my own comment, then i assume you are talking to me, and if that's the case, i think we got a big misunderstanding here.

Maybe my English is not good enough to express what im thinking. All i wanna say is, for me, a really challenge when i play cock hero is how to manage to the last second, not the beat itself. If i have to pay 100% attention to the beat, then it's such a waste since something really hot goin on and i cant see it. I dont tell you to make something exactly like those two, i never mean it, i embracing the new. The point is, if a simple beat can still make a hard cock hero, then is a really complex one necessary ? I can handle the complex beat as long as they are not too exhausted.

I really love the concept and anything else, i really do.

Also, Mr123, the beats you chose and their difficulty were great. Getting all the way through this one is a real challenge, and that's a good thing.
