I'm running Ubuntu 18 and get MPlayer to play videos with sound, but the metronome isn't there. I played the WAV file form terminal and it works fine and if open the WAV file direct form MPlayer it plays fine. Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue. I hear audio but there's no video. Same videos play fine with mplayer on its own.
