Looks exciting!
Definitely interested in trying this out as soon as there is a free demo!
The free demo will be out in just 2 more weeks :)
Took me a while, but I finally got around to trying this out. I hope you're still taking feedback here.
First, the bad stuff.... As a somewhat tall person, the positions I was supposed to get in, were not really feasible in the intended way. When I got in the position required, I was way higher than the software wanted me to be. I had to hunch and get down in a weird way before it would accept it. So some kind of height calibration would be a good thing. I can imagine smaller people having the opposite problem in that they won't be able to get high enough.
Subtitles are good, but having them projected all over the model is a bit of a shame.
That's pretty much the bad stuff, except for the part in which I wanted it to last longer of course...
The good stuff then!
The visual representation of how the software expected me to stand was great. Based on what she said, I had an idea, but showing the intended position and also how it saw my headset and controllers projected on top of that made it easier to understand what was required. Probably would not be necessary after a while, but a good learning tool.
The combination of the nodding system and being able to select more complex answers from the journal seems great. A lot of interaction can be done by just Yes and No so those are the most important anyway. As someone else has already suggested, some basic voice recognition would also be a great extra feature, but it's probably not the greatest idea to have the software dependent on it. Having to select an answer from a book is of course somewhat immersion-breaking, but yelling something in 8 different ways because the voice recognition does not work properly is far more de-arousing. I think a lot of people know how badly this already works in cars, so I doubt a small studio can do things much better. Some basic motions and perhaps a few default things to say (edging, cumming, begging,...) on the off hand Vive controller is probably more than enough. Perhaps starting up some sort of dialogue wheel from that controller for more complex interaction is also interesting.
The model is not realistic looking, but I think this is a very good mix of a normal looking woman with just enough fantasy touches that it makes it convincing to look at. Plenty of VR porn games have tried to go for the ultra realistic look, and it looks more fake than your semi-fantasy model. Also I really love the voice!
Although there is not really anything to do right now since it's mostly a proof of concept, this is by far one of the most promising directions I could see VR porn go in the short term. Just like in non-VR porn games, the VR ones are almost all limited to the player messing about with some unrealistic model that, in the best cases, is somewhat reacting "realistically" to the actions. While stimulating a woman in real life can be a lot of fun of course, doing the same to a digital model doesn't really do anything for me. A VR Dominatrix game is all about stimulating yourself, which is kind of the point of porn anyway. I have tried several VR porn games over the weekend, and while some feel far more feature-complete, this is the only one that got me interested.
So in, conclusion, this is awesome, please make it a complete product!
Also, some suggestions as well. I already mentioned the height calibration and basic speech recognition. For an easy source of content or basic gameplay loop, it might be interesting if you take a look at the TeaseAI software that can be found on this forum. That program, and the personalities written for it, will provide you with a bunch of possible scenarios that can (in my opinion at least) probably be redone in VR because they are all about doing stuff to yourself as instructed by a Dominatrix. Also the basic idea of randomizing modules might be good way to keep it interesting. Although it can be much better if you play through an entire curated/fixed scenario that focuses on certain elements (like initial training or specific fetishes), those probably take a lot of time to create. And if you played a complete scenario a couple of times, it gets kind of predictable. Having a bunch of loose modules which can be combined semi-randomly will increase the times you can play drastically. The creators of TeaseAI are often limited by what the framework of that application provides, but you are creating both the framework and the content, so that creates untold options!
It might be a bit platform-specific, but using the Vive's camera from with the software might be a good addition. In cases where you are told to do specific things, it might be helpful if you can actually, temporarily, see what you are doing in real life.
The biggest issue I see is having the software track actual masturbation. You would almost have to disable the input on a Vive controller and tape it to your arm or something...
